Ok, so Im sorta new to SSA and Ive been looking at alot of people build logs and I decided its time to wall my car. Ive already started and this project should get done within the next couple weeks. So heres the specs, 2 FI Q 15 fully loaded, box has 8.2 Cubes after displacement tuned to 33hz. Im open to any feedback and opinions but if your going to be a jack a$$ then dont bother posting, 1 more thing, Im 17 years old and im doing all of this myself with maybe the help of my friend so dont give me crap for being young I know 95% of what im doing, secureing the box to my car is the hardest thing for me, I was think get brackets shaped like this -|_|- from home depot, flat up over down flat, and Using sheet metal screws to secure them to the floor, then drill through those and bolt my false floor to the brackets what do you guys think? I dont know how to post pics yet because its URL not upload, so Ill figure it out tonight, so far I have all the wood cut and all the wires ready, Im in the process of tinting my rear and 2 back side windows 5% because looking through clear glass at a box is ugly (the box will be wrapped in suede once completed) Ok I figured out how to post pics, Here is my tint so far Here is the wood heres what it looks like now Heres my car There is more to come, im cutting the shape for the false floor tomorrow or the day after but what do you guys recommend to secure the false floor to the car???

No I dont, im just stating my opinion and saying that my box was sealed so I wasnt going for spl and the Type Rs where ported and where going for SPL and the FI was louder. So it does help, its helps by 1 more opinion and yes I know he is a SSA Tech and he helps answer alot of thins but he shouldnt go saying peoples posts suck when they are stating an opinion, a sucky post is one that asks how much something costs or if its something you can easily research. The type Rs could be louder than the Q in the proper box but for the average person who is going to buy the sub then throw it in a pre-made box then the result is that the Q is louder. I built my box because it needed to be custom to fit in my trunk and I did not intend for SPL but I intended on SQ. Does that "help shit" for you, that if your running a pre-made box for the typer Rs then the Fi Q 15 will be louder.

This guy is really smart, I did state the boxs, I said mine is sealed and his are ported, big deal if I didn't state the tuning of his box because mines sealed and its louder, and I dont care if its an old post, someone might be wondering the same thing and more input is better. And also my buddy didnt build the box, he just bought it, man your an idiot making assumptions like that, go hate on something else since your probly running some sonys and you just hate everybody with a better sound system than you, so you go on here trying to be cool, lol what a queer.

I have an Fi Q 15 in a sealed box in my trunk with 1000 watts, my buddy went out and bought a brand new system to be louder than me and with 2 12" type rs in a ported box, port for each sub not shared, and he had 500 watts going into each sub and his system still wasnt louder than mine, and mine was sealed!!

Hey FI I got my sub yesterday and installed it! OHHHH MYYY GOD!! that's the best freaking sub I've hear I'n my life so far. I have the loudest system I'n my entire town. It was well worth the wait! I've never experienced bass like that before!

Ya I know I will be pleased with it. I tryed posting yesturday put the computer freaked out. My order is I'n transit and it will be here Tuesday. So now I don't have to worry but I can't wait to get it now!

Ok, I will check in the morning, sorry for being a burden I just got real pissed when you told me to check tracking and I waited like 4 hours and still nothing. I don't know who wouldn't be pissed. Alright I will post on this topic tomorrow sometime if I haven't seen any updates.

Ok. I did go and talk to my buddy at UPS and they checked the system and they said as soon as the UPS guy picks up the package he scans it and it should go to the system. But it's not their so idk what you mean by it was picked up and is on the road if it was on the road it would been scanned at least 3 times by now. I'm sorry for freaking out but from the looks of it you took my money and havent shipped my order. Now I know your busy and I know you have alot of orders to fill buy honestly I don't know who wouldnt be mad when they are told it's on it's way but UPS has no idea where it's at.

I'm actuly I'n school right now so when I get out I'll go to my UPS place here because I know the person who works there and her type I'n the tracking number or do something and see where it is.

Well I just checked it and it still said FI has it but I'll give it a hour or something. I'll tell you if nothing has changed. Do you know for sure my order has been shipped and if you do do you know what day it was shipped?

Well it's thursday, I've refreshed the tracking number, it's the right tracking number. UPS still hasn't received my order yet. That's what it says. But it could be shipped and UPS is just stupid and forgets to update tracking numbers. I live I'n Washington state so it should only take a couple days to get here. If FI has shipped my order then it will be here today or tommorow. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if my order doesn't get here today or tommorow ill probly be so angry ill drive down there myself and get it. Lol.

I ordered mine May 17 and they said they should be shipping my sub late last week. I might be getting it I'n the next few days... I hope. I ordered mine on May 1st and they just shipped out today on June 7th. It seems like they got the backorder issue resolved so most orders will probably ship very soon if they haven't yet. did you get a tracking number telling you they shipped it? I did get a tracking number, but that does not mean that UPS has actually picked up your order for shipment. I refreshed my tracking number and it claims that my subs are now in Denver Colorado and are scheduled to be delivered on Friday. When did you receive your tracking number I got mine on the 5th and i refresh the tracking every hour and nothing, they told me my sub was supposed to ship yesterday the 7th and It didnt. Today they told me they where shipping it today and ive been checking tracking all day and nothing

Ya I got a tracking number on the 5th and Ive been checking the tracking number twice a day and it hasn't shipped yet. I did email orders like a week ago before the label was made and he emailed me today and said my order was all ready to go so he's going to checking with the shipping dept and see if they have shipped it or not because it just says there's a label and it hasn't been shipped... For 3 days. It should ship today unless they dropped it and broke it. That would suck

I ordered my Q 15 2 weeks ago and I asked them what the update is on the Q's and they told me They where shipping mine this week. Im glad to see that they are shipping, 2 1/2 weeks is alot better than waiting the 4 weeks estimated time

I just joined these forums to see what was up with the delays, and I got my answer, I just sold my subs to buy a Q15 and now i have to wait 30 days with no bass!?!?! This is torture. Hey Scott, if I order the Q 15 with all options for the seal application when will It be shipped? Because I NEED bass!
