  1. aww man, well when ever you get some new batteries and you have a little extra time, please snap a quick pic for me so i know what it looks like. thanks again nick. oh and if you can, can you pm or email me a quote on a recone kit for a 15" btl fully loaded d1, thanks.
  2. thanks nick! just out of curiosity, what do you guys use for glue when putting subs together, or reconing (in the factory)? is it a special company blend? also, what are the shims made out of (never seen one before)? thanks
  3. This is a question I was curious about... I know there are recones for the btl. The question I have, is do they come as a kit (including glue, shims, etc.)? If not, what glue do you guys recommend for gluing the surround, and dustcap? Also, is there some type of special gap tool, or shim that you recommend for correctly centering the vc in the gap? thanks

If I wanted to divide my rectangular port right down the center for some extra bracing, will my port length have to stay the same or does it change since I technically have 2 seperate ports now???
  6. I would use regular t-nuts, or some of these deluxe 6 prong t-nuts, and some machine screws. Here is the link for the deluxe t-nuts. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...number=081-1088
