  1. superglue? r you sure that might work? i have a ton of superglue lol
  2. its ok dude. yeah hes the first guy im talkin to lol
  3. oh well the subs in the garage look old school maybe they're just dirty lol
  4. I see.............. Well I'll try the duct tape idea. It's a very big tear covers almost half of the surrounding. I'm most likely not going to recone it. Or at least not anytime soon. It was something to put in my uncles suv.. As for now I'm really searching for a sa10 dual 2 ohm. And I'm building another box for it to specs
  5. Yeah when my uncle used to like car audio back in the 90's he used audiobahn. In fact there's alot of old school audiobahn equipment in my garage.
  6. Welcome buddy!
  7. Possibly. Wasn't rly paying attention to what was happening till after. I am in no way blaming anyone else or the company. Complete user error on my part. Although with the surrounding already ripped it may have played a role, but I'm the one who actually witnessed it rip lol.
  8. It's been ripped before but previous owner "fixed" it. He used sillicone I believe? But anyways the sub easily can take 200rms from my mtx amp but when I wired it to two ohms so I can get 400rns thats when things got bad. Volume on headunit was at 28, everything 0 on headunit, gains on amp half way up. Song: I'm on one by DJ khaled My buddies and I watched the sub flex and next thing you knew "FLAP!" the previous rip on the foam surrounding was ripped, again. Tears almost ran down my face :'( Comes to show you dont always know what ur gettin, I know nothing of sub recones and fixes so I wasn't sure myself if the the fix was actually fixed, evidently it wasn't. It's cool though I only paid $50 for the sub. Just lesson learned. But I may try to sell the sub or if i get it fixed "professionally" how much would it cost me. I plan on getting a sa10 dual 2 ohm so this dcon really isnt too important to me. I'll post pics tomorrow. Just very sad at the moment lol
  9. No I stated that it's not maintaining voltage. I'm asking $50. I actually see alot of people posting bad batteries, figured someone will buy mine.
  10. Lol it's cool. I've heard worse. I bought it anyways. The brand made me curious and I had no knowledge of them so I decided to ask.
  11. I see. I was wondering because I have some old school jbl tens and my cousin offered me a sub box for $10 and it's a visonik prefab I guess I'll decline that offer lol. Really I'm just Trying to sell my jbls, figured it be easier if they were in a box.
  12. Lol so wait, their speakers suck? Amp sucks? How bout their boxes?
  13. I see, thanks. Don't forget ears lol
  14. So bringing this back up to mention my kinetik 1400 doesn't keep it's voltage anymore..
  15. Soo.. Just play with it? I don't have any equipment but I keep telling myself to get some.
  16. Sorry for asking on ur thread but whats the recommended ssf and lpf on a 400 watt mono amp at 2 ohms to a 4 ohm dvc 400 watt sub? Oh and the box is ported tuned around 30-32hz
  17. Anyone had experiences with this brand? Their amps? True power? Subs? Durability? Boxes? Good as or worse than prefab?
  18. Yeah he's the best uncle any nephew could ask for and im glad he's my uncle. off topic but he also was into car audio when he was younger. He messed with old school audiobahns rf and mtx. Now hes into drag racing which I might be interested in soon as well. But yeah I have to play around with the gains and stuff on the amp because the dcon doesn't sound as good as when my friend had it in his car and he was pushing less watts. But idk
  19. They're some voltage suckers. Hope you have some gooood electrical
  20. Oh it's my uncle's car that i sometimes drive when I have alot of friends hanging out and that's usually Friday. I thought it be nice to add a lil bass to it.
  21. Cool, thanks man. Yeah both the + terminals are next to each other and the - terminals are next each other. I might have to do some electrical upgrades to get full power out of that amp. It's all stock electrical in a 2000 landcruiser
  22. I have a ssa dcon dual 4 ohm and I bought a mtx thunder 3401 momkblock amp from a friend. I want to wire it to 2 ohms. The amp has two pos and neg outputs. Idk how to wire it. Do I wire it as if it's bridged and do pos of first two outputs with neg of the second two outputs? Just got it today and I did wire it the way I said and it doesn't sound as if it's pushing the full 400 watts. If anyone can get me a wiring diagram for this amp that would help
