TC was 1000w rms, fs 23,6hz and SSA is 1750w rms, fs 31.3Hz. Why Tc sound, why SSA ? who is the best for ""SQL"". please help thanks for answers.

So....solution is to go 15 'inches in optimum box and tuning it at 30Hz, compared to one of 18' that will sing louder but not as smooth / clear? Thanks for answer

space problem in my trunk i can create a box with external dimensions: 28x16x40 inches. It means 9.8cuft. I have 0.8' wall thickness and remain 8cf Vb for speaker. In this case i have 5.5-6cuft for speaker and 1.5-2cuft for port. I know for one 18' sub i need 7cuft , but my question is: I can create a box with 5.5-6cuft ? I can tuning it at 30Hz and works properly ? (If not i buy 15' and i create optimal box) thanks

I have 400$ (budget for buy a subwoofer) ive been looking/shopping for a nice big ""SQL"" subwoofer who can sing music at low frecv. I`m interested to hit low (28-30Hz). I listen rap - dub step music, my car is 4 door hatchback. HU is alpine 9831, amplifier will be HFi2000D. I have a second batteries and 0awg cable. Someone recommended me: TC Sounds LMS-R 15 SSA XCON 15 or 18 FI BTL I have not heard any version. I`m from europe and i want to buy it from USA. I also want your recommendations to buy best solution.
