Massive P 3000.1. Ran at 2 ohm so around 750 rms. Doing practice runs for bass race they were taking the power fine for a 145 and climbing but the voltage was to low. Dropped to 11.3 with 8 seconds left in the run.

On a side note figured out why I couldnt break a 150. Both my batterys are bad. They have dead cells in them.

First time out did a 148.4 @ 57. Not to bad for a 36 hz tuned box.

Sits at 1.8. Also I think I found some of the problem. I had a bad battery. As soon as I unhooked it from the others it went to 10.3 and the others sat at 13. So I might have had some clipping going on.

Its been a little bit since the last update son to some new pics. Changed the box so I can change the port tuning if needed. Also for those who kept asking about bracing I think this might be enough. Still have the double baffle and trim panel to do.

Well after having these subs for awile now I think I'm going to have to change them out. I think Im asking to much out of them. There not liking my amp at the moment every time I turn them up I start to smell the coils on them. Im only feeding them 750 rms I think its just to much for them. I have a show to go to on the 21st of OCT so I'll try and get a vid of them going up.

Well I need to get on the meter and see if Im the first to 150 with Mach 5s. I have to beat you. At least you could say your the first in canada. well 150 db in a family van beats anything i can do Currently... Also remember this is a bass racer not a fart machine. Im sure I could do 160 if I made it a fart machine.

box looks like it should move air though! chitty deals man hope you find somthing to make you happy Worked on the box today and figured out what was wrong. I made the port to long was tuned to 27.5 hz. Which made the box Cut it down and put 45s in the corners and Hairtricks away. Now have to move radio to the rear sealed off section so it stops skipping.

Are you tuning your new box freq to 55 or are u going to try to change the whole resonance freq? If your just going to tune the box to 55 there's an easier way than tearing the whole thing out and starting again. No I think I goofed on the box design.Im getting no air movement out of the port. Plus its tuned to low. I need it tuned a little higher (35-40) to utilitized the peak of the van.It is 18.5 cubes with 250 sq inches of port. 51 wide 40 tall and 23.5 deep.

Im planning on doing over 150s with them. Just need to work on it. Wife wants to bassrace the 140-149.9 class so that means a burp around 154.

Bad news I'm tearing it all out. Kind of disappointed with the box design. Cant do hair tricks. Sounds ok its loud but the wall has moved the freq up to about 55 and need to refigure the box to maxamise the resonance freq.

As for bracing there will be threaded rod and triple baffle. The rear of the box will be doubled up as well.

No problem I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say something. Its a ZR120 for the fronts. Had to have something for the ride to work. The Massive in sitting in the house waiting.
