Finally got some time to do my Wifes build for Bass Race. Equipment is 4 MJ 18s and a Massive Audio P3000.1. 18.5 cubes tuned to 30 hz. On to the pics any comments or critisim is always welcome. what Im working with. the old boxes the wood some scraps some together the port just needs the top in the van should have made it taller. This will be walled off behind the second row of seats. Bracing will be in the form of threaded rod. The only reason its in the van now is cause I dont have any room in the garage for it.

I did a 143.4 with 4 MJ 18s and 1k total power. My wife wants to run 12 MJ 18s in a diamond for bass race each set of 4 is going to get a Massive P3000. Which will be about 750 rms. All in the 3rd row section of an Astro.

I will say this 380 sq inches of port is to much they should be fine with about 200-300

The reason I want more is for my Bassracer. The wife is going to run it she said shes tired of just watching. Everyone knows how women are with volume control and if she blows one its not going to cost me an arm and a leg for a new one. I will be running a different vehicle in a SPL class. If I blow a sub it will cost me around 125 for a recone plus waiting time for glue to set. If she blows one its 8 screws out,drop in new sub and 8 screws in and ready to go.

Sorry dont get over here much since they changed it. Profoudus told me about this thread. The box is 18.3 cubes before sub dis. with around 380 sq. inches of port tuned to 31. They are the single 8 ran at 2. Off of a Powerbass ASA 2000.1.I did an 143.4 @ 45 HZ.with no tuning. Just received a Massive audio P3000.1 (3k@2 for those who dont know). Its in a 97 astro van. it fits behind the second row of seats and about 3 inches above the window line.
