  1. The x-over will separate sub, low, mid, hi. Then the eq will affect the speakers within the corsponding range.

Is the amp still up for sale?
  3. Do you still have the T1000? Is pm me I may have trade
  4. Well, I did turn down the rear, my rear are just for rear fill. My front stage sounds fine in my opinion. The box can't be moved around its built to fit between the wheel wells. And for the l7 naw not boomy. In the monte carlo 06 model it sounded fine. Plus the costumer was dead set on being able to get the spare out of its compartment.
  5. I woud like to post a pic from sketch up of my sealed box but can't seem to figure out thats done
  6. I went sealed but used just as much space as ported, because of the design. But seem to like the tight sound of sealed better. But I'm sure a well designed ported sounds nice.
  7. Well nem, I did think on that for awhile but just built a custom designed sealed box, but not totally aginest the idea. What do you suggest the tuning should be?
  8. I would also say 2. Becacse you would be using 2 chanels.
  9. Subs around 70hz 5.25 arond 85hz but I have my factory 6x9's playing full range
  10. By the way im running a 3way passive set up up front an and 2way in the rear. Front crossover points are 500 and 4.5k, factory 6x9's in the rear with http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-nd25fn-4-1-neo-silk-dome-tweeter-element-4-ohm--275-053. Im happy with the midbass and hi's just would like more re enforcement on the low bass.
  11. Well I thought that to, so I changed out the midbass with some dayton audio 5.25 midbass drivers from parts. expresshttp://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-nd105-4-4-aluminum-cone-midbass-driver-4-ohm--290-212. They helped a lot but still a bit boomy
  12. Im not positive, but I beleve the 4 separate gains are there if you're running a active set up and need to adjust the the mids and tweeters so that they blend together. But I could be wrong
  13. The set up is in a Sedan Deville, I had them in a ported box built to specs I found here on the site. A while back it was specs for duel ported box here. But that was to boomy for my taste. I like sq but like strong bass at times.
  14. At this time Im running a RF T500 -1bd on the decons, sounds good but I was looking for a bit more output in sound and thanks for the sketch up help
  15. I recently did a install using a audiopipe ap3001d (older 16volt discontinued model) on two 15" kicker l7's in a seald enclosure 1.5cuft. each. The amp was shocking strong. But on to my question , has anyone dealt with the audiopipe apsm 1500 mono block? And if so do you think it would be to much for my two first gen. Dcon 12's in 1.2cuft sealed inclosures? And ps. can a box from sketch up be uploaded on the site? If so how? Thanks for all help.
  16. the 5 1/4 would run from 90hz to 500hz then my mid range from 500hz to 3.5hz tweeter 3.5hz on out.
  17. I have been looking for some mid bass speakers and these caught my eye, I'm wondering if anyone out there has used them if so how did you like them? I would be using them in a 3way passive set as the woofer, crosser over points are 500hz and 3.5hz off a R/F P400-2. They are on eBay for what I believe to be a reasonable price. I wonted to post the eBay link but was not sure how. thanks for any and all replies.
  18. yeah,my thing is if its not going to make much diffrance, i can use that money towards new componets.
  19. voltage seems ok, well if it aint broke i want fix it... thanks for the reply
  20. Hey guys i have a question about using a second battery. i have a 95 Caddi stock alt. iterstate battery up front. i have done the BIG 3 using 4ga. The amps im running are the R/F P-400.4 at 4ohm each chanel and the R/F T500.1bdcp at 2ohm on two 4ohm svc 12" Dcons. i have been looking at the XS battery's.
