Just opened a beer after finishing mowing my lawn at the new house for the first time. I bought a Troybilt 675 series 6.25 ftlb model from a guy at work and ill be damned if I can find one for less than $250 brand new so I offered him $100 because it was barely used but he said he was sure he paid around $150 so I got it for $80. Either way at least half price, the oil is golden, the tank is full and it started first pull. Hells yeah

I may play around with keeping a nice low temp this week and get a big brisket for the weekend

Cooked steaks again yesterday. Flew past 700*.

Compressed air or shop vac for me.Good enough reason to get a shop vac. I picked one up at a local place yesterday.

Put the egg through the paces for the first time! I cooked some New York Strips and while the temp was way less than I had hoped (~500*F) the steaks came out great and had an Amazing flavor from the lump. Also my meat thermo really helped things out. What I need to figure out is how to set things up for maximum heat. Ill be the first to admit that I am not the best at charcoal cooking (yet) so I'll have to fine tune my fore making skills. How do you guys set it up and what temps do you achieve?
