  1. ah so you saw into the future and saw how bad the LSU/Bama game was?
  2. Seems to me like setting up rear speakers for a 5.1 is a bitch normally. Adding 2 more just adds more complication to the mix.
  3. posting on the splashtop app that is free today from amazon market. streaming my laptop to my phone over 4g connection. Could could prove to be useful.
  4. Son of a B. A year ago a Alpine KCE-400BT was ~$110. Now you are looking at $150. With my new phone I really want one.
  5. I can respect that.
  6. Just ran my first Android app, "Hello Android" on my Droid 1 that is now upgraded to 4.0 software even though Moto/Verizon stopped supporting it at 2.1. Whoop!
  7. Tired as hell. Thinking about just skipping out on work early.
  8. Just say something like: After this day we will no longer answer emails about the deal and we will no longer be selling anything at the deal price. It will be as if it never happened. If you ask us we will reply with, "I don't know what your talking about the (product) is always priced at $XXXX.XX" I wish, but I have a policy of answering every damn email, no matter how stupid, that comes in. Well, despite the fact it sucks for you that is a good business practice. hmmm custom filter on your email that automatically composes a "deal pricing is no longer available" email when the incoming email has certain phrasing. Maybe it could only compose the message and you could review/edit before sending it.

  10. Should be simple... Work on the platform you can also test. Much better to test on the actual application instead of a simulator. I plan on developing for Android 4.0 only at first because I will own a phone and tablet running 4.0 soon. Adrian_D, I may be PM'ing you some for some pointers. I'm a Mechanical Engineer by trade and have only dabbled in very very small amounts of C++. I really have no idea what I'm getting into with Java. Shoot away Okay, how do I do anything??? lol Honestly, that is the point I am at and I have been reading for a couple days. However I found some tutorials to do some simple programs which is the best way for me to learn. Hopefully I can be off and running with some of my own simple programs very soon. 1. Get something like Netbeans or Eclipse. They all have packages only for Java, since I believe you don't need a lot of developer tools. 2. Look at Sun's tutorials. Hello world, using forms etc to get your feet wet. I'll look for some tutorials I have saved... Got Eclipse and the Android plug in to go with it. I've gotten all the current API err ADK err whatever downloaded from Google. Funny thing is the 1st Android tutorial is called Hello world as well. Must be the same.

  14. I'm considering writing and Android program (Java based) Don't know if I said it hear before but it will be designed as an "in-car" application I'll probably just start on Android 4.0 since my phone has it and my new tablet will soon. I've been reading for a while now and haven't made it out of Android basics... Wish me luck
  15. Verizon is finally releasing the Galaxy Nexus today! Whoop! I'm going to be a big tech geek and be at Verizon as soon as they open!
  16. Kind of creepy as I was really just thinking about that before I clicked on the H0P
  17. But I moved on to bigger and better things. Like learning how to use the bull variety to get good grades on papers. Just like learning to add before you multiply
  18. you know I tried to embed the damn thing and it's not working so screw it.
  19. I love this guy ljuz3Bmiwn8
  20. They did it to themselves.
  21. One of my good friend's niece is named Ava. She was born in the last couple years.
  22. Do you mean that if your were trying to max out holding it in would help you oh so slightly? I do the same breathing in on the negative and out on the work motion and I really feel like breathing out helps me get up that last rep.
  23. Also would need to buy a new bezel and AC/HU bucket for my Silverado as the other was cut up for the 7". Options. Make it look good for my HU and sell it or just sell it as a starter kit for someone's double din or trade for someone looking to do a double din in a 99-02 silvy...
  24. So I feel like such a schmuck. I cannot, for the life of me, remember what Pioneer 7" HU I have in my truck. And it really doesn't matter I suppose because I think after this Christmas I may change my route (even though I haven't done nearly a thing this year... Hell, I hardly drove the truck) I'm picking up a tablet PC (Asus Transformer Prime) and my idea now is to use it's HMDI out for a digital audio out (has been done on previous model) directly into my H701 and have a back-up HU for other things. I may just use my old HU. I would consider a new one with XM or Sirius or HD radio but I'll have Pandora, Slocker and iHeartRadio on the tablet. It's amazing that 3.5 years ago I would have made a CarPC for all this, but a Tablet can do it all and better. I'm hoping I can find a good Android Tablet "front-end" to make it even nicer in the vehicle. I wonder how much I can get for my 7" Pioneer...
  25. Is it sad that what I think after getting bored at seeing the half covered boobs is, "damn, those 5 point safety harnesses work really well."
