Welcome to the IHoP
Probably answered but I'll throw in my 2 pennies. For Antivirus I would get AVG free. I've used it for years and have had no virus'. If you don't use Office stuff that often or if you want to try it out google docs is getting pretty good and its free.

They used 27 players that game. It's pretty obvious how the Rays were able to come back. Yeah, by scoring more runs than the Yankees. John Madden could tell you that.

A lot of people wonder how I do driving the Jeep around town, since it seems big to them. They never saw a 1 ton I'm a little behind in the hop but I love driving the big ass vehicles. Just a Texas thing I suppose. But then again I love being able to swing my car into tiny spots. In my truck I walk more because I just park in the back

Welcome to the IHoP
Day one, we talked about how great the bible is. Day two, we talked about perverts and pedophiles. Day three, we talked about sexual tendencies and no no's, like fisting. All the while, my teacher is talking about how much he hates perverts and pedophiles, yet it's all he talks about, oh and did I say the bible? Loves to use proverbs any chance he gets. Which is great, except he conveniently leaves out all the great ones, like stoning your wife if she commits adultery. I guess you guys have figured out I didn't sign up for a religion class. I'd complain to his department head...preferably after the end of the semester... He flat out says none of his peers agree on his teaching methods or ideals lol. I'm likely going to suck it up and use it to my advantage. If I can relate anything Christianity I will. If I can free write, I'll write about Jesus and his struggles, something along those lines should make him easy on the grading. That's using your noggin Unless he knows the Bible and you don't...

Welcome to the IHoP
What kind of image? I've got quite a few images with very high resolution than can be printed out. I would also try google images and select some big size. Maybe the place you would go, could have some stock images too. We are playing a game called Fruit Ninja, and I have a large logo image I just wanted to throw it on a large tournament bracket and print it out. I know that with adobe they have vector images or something like that so no matter how big you make it, it still looks good.

Welcome to the IHoP
Hey guys, I need some help. I am having tournament of sorts tonight and I want to make a big tournament bracket. I am thinking about getting a big image and taking to a printer place and printing out a large blank bracket on paper. Problem is I don't know what to get/ do. I know that there are images you can make bigger and not lose quality but I don't know how to find them. I need an image that will look good on a 3-4' by 6' sheet of paper... Ideas?

Am not ! Finished a prototype LED power supply, cut some wood for the work bench and installed a huge vice, organized some stuff in the garage (ever since moving i nothing was in place) and put together a customer's SPL box. Speaking of LED's, where is the best place to buy them? I only need around 5 or so.

My new Fitness Goals
Howdy all, I wanted to take some time to share my fitness goals. I have been through many times in the past where I wanted to do this or that. Sometimes I wanted to be really strong and body build, other times I wanted to run a lot and be lean. This time I have a compromise of the two extremes. My goal, being general, is to be able to compete (with my friends) on a high level athletically. This will include sports such as softball, ultimate, running, cycling, swimming with softball really being my biggest focus. I love baseball but can't compete at the level that is available to me and softball I can play with more people and have a lot of fun. Also, as with almost anyone, my secondary goal is too look better and feel better. Current Status: 6'1" 230lbs (Gained about 15lbs since last year: mostly fat) I am a Grad Student with classes, a research job and I am also very involved with my church. Time is not in my favor but I do try to make the most of it. Plan of attack: I played softball this summer and while I was very happy with my performance, I did not have the necessary power needed to hit home-runs. Therefore, I am beginning my regimen in the weight room. I work out with my room mate (which is a big help for sticking with it) 5 days a week. We do upper body (including core/abs) on MWF and lower body on TTh. Our workouts consist of some of the basics (bench, curls, squat, leg press, etc..) and we throw in a lot of different ways to work out all of our muscles. Also, he has a basketball background so we throw in some fun cardio basketball workouts some days. For cardio, I currently rely on sports. I'm playing rec league flag football currently and I play ultimate frisbee every Saturday. I'm also trying to work in swimming on TTh with my gf (shes a good swimmer) Goals: My goal in the weight room is to get to what I feel is "strong enough" I would like to be able to bench 205x8 and hit a 1 rep max of about 240. I really don't know what I want on squat but I am thinking the 350 range is good for me. After I reach my weight lifting goals I want to maintain them but not hit the gym as often as I transition into more cardio exercises. Cardio will be focused on speed and agility while also incorporating some long runs and bicycle trips on the weekends. This is all I really have for now. Feel free to share your thoughts, ideas or encouragement.

Just Joined a Gym and need Some Advice.
Ding ding ding! A friend of mine ad to stay out of the weight room (for legs) because of an injury, he also couldn't run a lot because of it. He walked A LOT that summer and started eating 6 portioned "meals" a day and lost 70 pounds over the summer. I see that you have a trainer and a plan now and that is awesome. Do your best to keep it fun. In addition to these workouts you should try to go play sports with friends. This really helps keep me motivated as you can easily see the benefits of the workout. Example: I cycled almost everyday last summer. Halfway through the summer I started leg lifts just once a week. I immediately noticed improvements in my cycling speed and endurance. I hope that you stick with it and keep working hard! -MK

It was amusing while I did some paperwork. The jokes were pretty tough though. The Ryan Dunn joke was too soon. Actually it would never be time for that joke.

i heard the same thing, something like ignition burns more gas than five mins of idle, but idk the truth. Not really true. However it could cause more wear and tear... but still not likely on the engine, but yes the starter. Definitely not true. If the engine is warm and you can shut it down for more than 10 seconds then you are saving gas and reducing pollutants. Technically, you do wear down the starting a little quicker and add a bit of wear to the engine from start up, but with a warm well running engine it is too negligible to make a difference. I work in the air quality division at work .

Hooray for unnecessary brand diversification. Wow, that makes Netflix suck. Glad I cancelled my membership.

Oxymoron Perhaps up north, but quite common here. And it was at Texas A&M, so yeah, boots were the way to go. You were at A&M?

Welcome to the IHoP
Only in Texas would this start with boots. Nothing wrong with good boots. You'd wear them with a suit to an interview? ...I wouldn't. Common occurrence here. Especially popular for weddings

Sean will like that idea Actually I'd rather see a ridiculously lightweight something with shitloads of power. A high revving lightweight 6/8 is more than fine with tha BOOST. Deuce coupe inspired rod with some snails on a beastly v8 or i6 would perhaps be my dream. For some reason I just thought about how I would like some kind of big cruiser luxury car with an i6 Cummins.

Your best bet will be to up the speaker size or get one that will give you enough "omph". I have 7's in my truck and I can cross them really low to really bring the sub frequency to the front (the one's you can directionalize that is)

I second that. I was in a class last year where all of the tests were open book. Class average on tests was around a 65. I think it's because most people hear open book and think that means they don't need to study. If that's why then they're dumb. We had one class where it was open everything (because we didn't have an actual book). It was a Math class and he even allowed TI-89's. Basically he allowed everything but devices that communicated to the outside. That was my first B in college and probably would have been my only if I would have gotten an A in that class.

Worst night ever!!
For other insurance I remember a guy mounted razor blades on the back of the HU because most people reach back there to yank it out. He said the cost of cleaning the blood off his carpet was cheaper than replacing everything.
