My pack is supposed to weigh around 35 pounds total I think that may exceed it. If it's any consolation we will be driving to the place in a ford excursion (7.3L diesel of course) with a sweet custom roof rack.

Any of you guys have any experience with backpacking? I'm talking about 6-7 days on the trail with you and your backpack and travelling with enough water to last you 3-4 days at a time. Going on a back packing trip over Christmas break and am going to need to get all the necessary supplies....

FInally, after doing the same thing over and over. I got the new router to work on the Win7 PC and now I'm putting that dude to work. Wirelessly sharing on utorrent on the media PC, downloading ubuntu programs on the laptop, and downloading the second season of true blood on the desktop.

Thought I'd let you guys know I'm posting from my laptop which is now running Ubuntu 10.1 Definitely liking it so far!

baha, I thought so. i haven't made it that far into the episodes to see it I suppose. The second season is finishing up downloading on the new desktop right now.

I love Win7 It's honestly Windows XP with the looks of Vista. Guess I'm just frustrated. I don't know why I can't just hook up a printer and print. When it works I really have enjoyed it.

Now the fucking computer says the printer is installed, but when I go to print there is nothing.... fucking windows 7 blows. This is fucking rediculous

So the windows 7 computer will work perfect if I hook it up to the cable modem. If I wire the connection through a router it will not work. I even just bought a new router thinking it was the router's problem, but it won't work on the brand new router. Funny thing is, when we first got it, it worked fine wired through the router. Then one day it just stopped working... You guys have any ideas because its driving me fucking nuts

In windows 7 does each user act like its own computer? I installed google chrome on my dads name and when I switch to mine I could not find it. Internet explorer let me download and install it

ugh wtf. I can't get the proper resolutions to show up on the laptop and I can't get the audio to install. I'm using the same HP disc and drivers off a flash drive that I used the last time I did this......

They do... as they are the same one's that are on my truck. Only reason I am replacing them is because one tire is separating. It's been doing it for a while but my mom just noticed and now she will bug the shit out of me until I replace them, but I know they could go for longer. My ideal tires were (I think) the 305/70/18 as they were 35.1 in tall and wouldn't be as wide (though the site claims they are a 35x12.) and on an 18 I think they would have looked sexy, but the tires alone are $1600. They would also allow me to do a big brake kit if I wanted. Just found out though, the 17's will allow me to upgrade my 02 brakes to larger slotted and drilled 06 brakes. Couple/Triple that with stainless lines and, if needed, hydroboost setup and I think I'll be fine.

forgot to mention that if the deal works out the guy will ship them free from Fl (most likely in the back of his truck as he is headed to San Antonio)
