Pulled my H701/C701 processor from my truck a couple weeks back. Going to sell this, then probably pull my SAX-100.4 and my SAZ-1000d and maybe sell the Icon as well. Want the SSA Fam to have first dibs on it all. I've been seeing the H701/C701 go for north of $400 on ebay. I'm looking for $330 shipped anywhere in the continental US. I could ship elsewhere, but would at least look at shipping costs first. No boxes, does have some blemishes but works great! The beauty bezel around the C701 is missing. No screen name in the photos, but I promise they are actual photos. I can update them when I have time this weekend.

Agreed on so many accounts on all these posts. A truck will be in the family for because we need 2 vehicles and it's SUPER convenient, when needed, if one is a truck (towing hauling, etc) When it comes to motors, both make torque and HP, both make plenty and what Sean said. Honestly, it will come down to finding the truck I like and what motor may be inconsequential as long as it's the 3.5 or the 5.0.

Considering I'll tow about 1% of the time I'm okay taking the hit then.

Drove a 2012 FX2 with the Ecoboost today. I liked the Ecoboost more than the 5.0

Lett me know how it works. The magnetic method works but doesn't keep the phone straight up and down all the time. I'd also have no problem hiding the charging cord with my truck which would look slick

So I went and drove a 2011 Ford F150 Lariat and I came away a bit underwhelmed, but I don't think it was the Ford's fault.

I'm not emotionally ready to handle my child playing sports. Not sure if I'll be ready in 5-6 years.

I feel like that is one of the problems with USA made. Very specialized labor. Not saying it's not worth it, just a challenge to be dealt with.

I'm thinking with the new truck it may be better to buy a cheaper truck with out the infotainment system and just add a double din and back up cam.

So I forgot how different the car audio world is outside of SSA. Guess I've been living in the bubble too long. I was telling a guy how I didn't want to just give away my woofer/tweeter combo since it's a great set of speakers and cost me almost $300 and he was like, "$300 isn't that expensive for speakers, I paid over $300 for my Infinity yadda yadda speakers." Sometimes I wish I didn't build the system for me and would have demo'd it more.

Turns out my new HU has a pretty nice 2way + SW setup. Any cheap 2 ways ideas and a 12" sub that likes 2.25 cu ft @ 34Hz?

O wish I didn't decide that I wanted a Lariat or LTZ. I have no problem with cloth interior, but I really like the "flow through" center console and captains chairs.
