  1. They are shielded and the 4 ohm version. Don't know how much of a difference that makes. I know the was a difference in frequency response between my tweeter in a normal configuration and shielded. I wish I could use these in the Zaph Revelator tower. I would definitely talk the parents into buying these so I could build the 2.5 Way to start out the HT
  2. I think Farve on the Vikes is pretty cool myself lol. Can't wait to see how it unfolds. I'm over the fact the he "ruined his legacy" with the cheese heads and ready to see how much farther he will take it. Hell you only have one life to live. Why not do what you love.
  3. WTF how?
  4. Okay I'm going to start looking into getting the parents fixed up on the home theater audio and get rid of the Blose. The parents finally got a new flat screen, a new TV stand and we are getting direct TV sometime this week. I realized that our home audio has a total of 12 2.5" speakers a blose passive radiator whatever and a RCA prebuilt subwoofer. It's time to dump this shit. It looks to me that I can do 6-8ohm and have 5x100W@6ohms. I want to build them some nice towers first to get the ball rolling, then hopefully a center based off the towers, a sub, and if I'm really lucky some little surrounds to top it all off. Any particular projects that you guys have in mind? By the way i have a very tall cathedral ceiling in the house so the speakers have a lot of airspace to fill.
  5. Using the cell for internet has been the shit this weekend
  6. Can't wait for the speakers to come in. I think mi madre cleaned my truck for me this weekend. Always makes it easier to install
  7. check out the newegg reviews. You will pretty see with any of them a bunch of positives and a couple negatives where the product didn't work and newegg made it right. Just make sure the MHz matches up but everything else looks fine
  8. keep updates posted on that adrian. I fi ever run across some money thats what I'll be doing
  9. wow awesome adrian. I saw a pair in the states recently. seems like some sweet tires
  10. also have plenty of minutes left for this month so I'm going to use up this internetz... w00t!
  11. Posting from laptop, hooked to cell phone while on the road FTW
  12. Post or Die? do I need to add some stipulations?
  13. Seriously, this sheet is slow
  14. slow h0p
  15. Can't wait to get them installed and give the H701 a work out
  16. Waiting on some install pics There will be. I got to get the damn truck clean though. It's driving me nuts
  17. Just ordered the ER18RNX with the 27TDFC. Zaph was most convincing about the tweet and said it was very strong off axis. We will see how it goes
  18. By the way, I'm not sure why anyone would mount speakers to the door panel, much less 2 6.5"s and what does my space under my back seat have anything to do with the question?
  19. What does this all mean? Its from the Zaph site for the ZA-SR71 kit
  20. It's Extended cab. I have 2.25" seat lift with a 12" Icon in 2.25 Cuft tuned to 34ish. I have heard the pillars is a bad place in a Silverado I'm highly considering ER18RNX midbass with 27TDFC tweeter, which is setup used on the Zaph site. The review says they are very good off-axis
  21. 2002. It has the big speaker grill, a lot of stuff can fit behind it
  22. H0P has been really dead as of late IMO
  23. Come on guys, where's the love. Thought I would mention that a 7" woofer will fit easily and the tweet will need good off axis response.
  24. It says the ushers frequency range is only to 8000
  25. I'm really so confused on what tweeter to pick. I know i enjoyed t-rav's midrange, but I don't know how it would react in my truck, but I know that Sean has experience with it in his truck but when it comes to the tweeter I don't know what the difference is going to be. I don't really know wether I would like be to optimized for midrange or midbass.... no idea what so ever by the way, post in the thread so other people can read the info as well
