I blew the tweets on my DLS components and its time for an upgrade. I just got the H701/C701 installed recently so now I have full control of crossovers, slopes, etc... However, I can't go 3 way because of budget constraints and the constraint of me not wanting to do fiberglass work in 100*+ weather. So what I'm looking for is a killer 2 way setup with a 6.5"+ speaker and a tweet (can do large format). Initial budget is/was $300 but it is flexible. As far as prior experience I have heard TMax's CA18 and LPG tweet (I think that's it) and love the mid. So I am considering a variation of that woofer. As far as tweets I haven't been impressed by really any since my first set of components when I heard a real tweeter. I'm hoping I can change that for myself. M5 has recommended the OW1's to me but I'm not sure my budget can justify it. That should be all the information required, so have at it!

Another instance of the slow south (or maybe newscasters in general) is with that link to the car chase I posted earlier. The reporter is talking about how they have no clue what the condition of the driver in the truck is that hit the guy and you can clearly see a guy talking to a cop next to the truck, then the guy walks over to the truck and starts grabbing stuff out of it. Now either that dude is stealing shit or he was the owner of the truck or a family member was tailgating his ass and stopped as well. oh and by the way, you got the fuggin crash on film I'm sure you could have panned over to the truck to see if the truck driver got out of the truck.

Been buying whole beans from Target (Archer Farms) lately to give the french press a try. Sadly the french press only makes one cup, but it did give me the kick I needed today. Also helps curve the hunger cravings which is spectacular since I've been working on the calorie intake lately

Its definitely still 100+ out here. Was outside practicing tennis for the last 2 hours. My buddy is trying to get back into his prime so he can play club level at UT next year and he also is going to be a tennis coach so coaches me as well. Win Win

Less than 12 makes me itch for more i was paddling the playboat. Right now i'm laying my arm against the couch to type because it's so sore You'll get into sometime. I don't paddle a kayak, but do canoe a lot and without wind I don't really get tired. More of a dexterity thing than a strength thing to me. +/- got in my way on ^this^ post.

I know I was previously interested in the ER18 mated with the 27TDFC

Don't think I mentioned. I got the H701 installed and it is teh sweet! I don't even know the difference between G. EQ and P. EQ

Oh and as far as the budget for the truck $300 is nice

If I'm not mistaken both the woofer and the tweet were 4 ohms. DLS states sensitivity at 94dB The Mids are great as far as condition, I really have no idea why the tweets blew. It didn't seem to me like I was putting much power at all and they are rated for 50W nominal. Perfect blending is not that big of a deal at all. I would prefer clarity over plain loud. Maybe exposed to drops of water (not submerged). Budget is preferably not more than $20 a tweet

and cross them at 5K? lol. The amp I am using has no processing power and neither does the Source Unit lol

In large formats I can't think of any that can't be crossed that "low" I want those for replacement of the DLS tweets. If I re use it it will be passively on the four wheeler and I really don't care if its perfect... its a fourwheeler lol The DLS's are in on your four wheeler? They will be eventually...
