  1. Read through the entire installation manual for the lift today. I'm pretty confident I will be able to handle it all, but I am going to need some helping hands. Also don't know how I'm going to work the gear situation. Because the dif I am getting is already modified for the lift I'd rather use that then use mine and have to modify mine as well, but I can't put that in there and drive a 4.11 front/3.73 rear to the gear shop. I planned on physically taking the rear end and front dif to the shop to do the work, but they are only open on week days and I will be getting and doing the lift this weekend. etc, etc... I'm thinking an option may be to install the lift then drop the rear drive shaft throw it in the back of the truck and then drive to the gear shop in 4wd. I saw a guy do this once before when he destroyed his rear driveshaft and then he drove a 4 hour trip back home at about 50MPH. Is that just too crazy???
  2. Are you part rabbit or something???
  3. OH SHEET!!! I'M GETTING THE LIFT!!!
  4. Whoa!
  5. so the F1 could essentially drive on an upside down road at 118+ mph?
  6. That is plain awesome to have a 9 sec 1/4 mile vehicle that can still turn. And not only can it takes corners, its probably is the best at doing it.
  7. Looks like the guy I was buying the lift from is just selling the entire truck instead . Which sucks because there isn't any chance I'm going to find a deal like that again, Lift, traction bars, wheels, tires, front diff, half shafts, hubs for $1500 all was used of course but I had already met the guy and checked out the lift and everything...
  8. Damn, sorry to hear about that Peng. I never knew that Silver what white.. Also, noticed no air bags deployed?? Hope you get well soon
  9. and umm I may be getting a 6 inch lift for an amazing price soon. Cross your fingers! And yes Tom, I know it won't make it faster =P but maybe the 4.56's will make up for it!
  10. Whoa, it is a slow hop.....
  11. Awesome vehicle! My biddy drives an early 2000 model rover and though it has quite a few electrical problems its great. It takes curba like a champ

  19. I wouldn't hesitate to own a db-r refurb, actually, I do own one... Do you plan on getting rid of your TMA amp?
  20. no. Didn't realize how misleading those two post could be when placed consecutively. That is an engine the Trick Performance built for someone to drop in an 04 Avalanche
  21. I really need to stay away from LS1Truck.com every time I go there I just want to spend money lol
  22. 427LSX with twin superchargers. 3" Pulleys = 23psi.
  23. Going to be selling my Weather gaurd toolbox from my old truck, its pretty much new. Really, only person this pertains to is Penguin because I don't think it would be near worth to ship it anywhere, but I figured I'd throw it out there!
  24. So umm, what happens if you hook up Power to Power Ground to Power and Remote to Ground on an amp???? Stupid old amp not having the remote wire in the center. I heard a pop and saw a little smoke. Immediately disconnected it and made it right then turn on a song from my ipod for a few seconds (since thats all the damn battery will last) and I got some niose out of it. I say noise because I only had the new 6.5" Subs hooked up free air.
  25. Yep, Chevy center caps on Titan wheels FTW!
