My uncle had a lake house he sold because he was spending $20,000 a year on property taxes. My buddies wife is a property tax accountant. She's a few years out of school and she makes $80K making sure her company pays property taxes on time...

If you get a 30 yr loan on a house in Texas, you will likely give the government over 70% of the value of your home before paying it off.

I'm more appalled by property tax than income.

So question on the bacon. How much foreground bokeh (not sure if that's the correct term) is okay. I love taking pictures of food, they seem to be bland and usually lacking color, when it's not the food lacking color. The cupcakes to me look awesome and the foreground bokeh is cool
