Tell me what you guys think of this idea. We have a Anemometer that measures air flow and to test and make sure we can match it with the calibration sheet I was thinking of taking a computer fan and sealing it to a piece of PVC then sticking the sensor for the anemometer into the side of the PVC to test the flow. Do you think the CFM rating for these fans are accurate enough to do something like this? Also the fans are rated at 12 Volts vould I directly run it to a 12 volt battery just for testing purposes?

I'm going to start harassing these exhaust companies to see if I can what I want out of them. If Borla would sell me 2 U bends, 2 5' Straights, DI/DO Muffler, and the Tailpipes off there "dual" system I would be set Then Reducers and flanges from Stainless works.... mmmmmm set

And I really keep going back and forth on exhaust for the truck. Options include Madrel bent true dual 2.5" exhaust w/cats ($1400) (lots of money) Custom built (cut from mandrel pieces) true dual 3" to 2.5" at muffler (possible cats) ($750ish with chance of LOTS of complications) Mandrel bent single 3" exhaust (no cats) ORY + Magnaflow Catback ($600) (easy bolt-up, sacrifice flow...) Non-mandrel true dual 3" exhaust from exhaust shop around town (unsure on price) (Kind of the cheap way out, not sure if the turbulence from the bends is a problem) Really this all roots to me wishing I had better metal working skills. If I had a bansaw I'd be more apt to doing it myself. Also, doing it myself I could make removable cats out of the stock ones which would be really nice. I know a guy that could probably help me out a lot but don't know if I really want to ask him.

The only thing I don't like about the place is its in the center between major and dowlen and there is no "easy" way to leave because its in a neighborhood.

y me lol how much for this one? 1500 for 4 people. With utilites I think it should come out to about 5500 a year which is only 300 more than the other one and still cheaper than the dorms on a 10 month comparison

don't forget about utilities in the new place. But yeah if it's like my meal plan while I was in the dorms they really rape you. I think it came out to like 8 dollars a meal. utilities included

Trav, I may have found a place. Trying not to get too excited. Comes out to only ~$200 per year more than the dorms for the year (dorms are only 10 months). That is also before the meal plan as well
