Back up question for you guys. I had a 500gb hdd fail. I have 2 500 gbs that I try to mirror each other. I need to get another 500gb hdd or change up my system. I only have laptops so nothing that runs all the time or that I could stuff a couple hdds into and setup a RAID. Any clever ideas to keep everything backed up for not much money?

My computer gets locked up on simple stuff now. The lock screen sometimes takes forever to allow me to click on it and then at items asks for a password when I don't even have one. I dunno, I have an ssd to try out so I was going to just load win 7 on it and keep rolling.
