  7. Congrats!
  8. With that said I say its really just a question of how much space you want to give up. Figure that out, find one/two of the biggest woofers you can fit with that airspace ported, comfortably, and go with it
  9. two inch spacing on left side represents tranny hump in the rear of the truck
  10. nowhere spending too much time blowing away money. Pic of said progress.... Which you've obviously seen beings that is you in the background
  11. Why is everyone so quiet??? you hunting wabbits?
  12. I know that as soon as my parents get a new big screen, which should be within the next year or two I'm going to make sure I can arrange to completely redo there surround sound, get rid of the Bose stuff, and get rid of the left front speaker, left left front speaker, right rear speaker, right right rear speaker, and slightly off center, center channel. TV is big and in a corner so its kind of awkward. Will be all passive but will be nice enough to were we actually enjoy using it for movies. Something like 1000W plate amp and 15 for sub duty (our surround sound is really a complete hack job right now w/ teh Bose) Back to this passive volume control and upgraded sound card. Could i use Dells little side slot for an upgraded sound card? I'd rather not dig into the laptop to upgrade
  13. for what? i can whore.....

  17. is there anyway I can see what you have uploaded?
  18. I'd give you one but you probably wouldn't ever download anything
  19. Stayed up till 2:30, completely sober. Just hit user on STMusic so I have 10 invites now if anyone would like one
  20. Where have you been looking? Unless you have really, really long interconnects and sources that have low preout voltages, you can use a "passive" volume control to save some money on the preamp end of things. Ebay and audiogon mostly. My source will be my laptop from the headphone jack for a while so I'd like to have the pre-amp
  21. Still haven't downloaded anything Adrian? How much have you uploaded now?
  22. TY Adrian, worked perfect. Any way to convert Flac to MP3 on Win Amp?
  23. How do you burn FLAC to a CD?
  24. I can't seem to get the deal I want on the Amp/Pre-Amp so I'm thinking about just buying the speakers, building the BIB and hooking them up to my dad's Technics receiver (SA-DA15) to see what they sound like then using my Panasonic Boom box/ surround sound reciever for temporary use
  25. Got 10 to 11 hours sleep last night. mmmmm yum. Time to start the box building and I think my Buddy from the Naval Academy will be in around 30 minutes from now.
