  1. my dad grew up there for a little while, while he was a kid. We visited his home not to long ago(like 5 years ago I think) and I didn't care for the beaches really. Which other beaches did you have to compare it to? I went to corpus and the day was over cast and it was still some much more beautiful than any Galveston, Crystal Beach day
  2. So I have 3 interviews for Co-Op in the next two days with Exxon Mobil, Flint Hills Resources, and Praxair. I really want to get on with Exxon Mobil but I wish Flint Hills would take and send me to Corpus Christi. So nice down there, so close to padre island and so much fishing in the area, Baffin Bay, Port O Conner, and about 6 other bays in the area. Sadly that won't happen but maybe if Flint hires me I can arrange it .

  8. repost ! Thanks for the repost. Some of us are slow and don't catch it the first time
  9. I would kill for that shop too. Actually, when I get my own place my shop will be bigger than my house (and probably worth more) I want to incorporate many aspects of shops I've seen like a transmission shop where I would eat off the floors, Metal shops, wood working shops, and a car lift will definitely be in order. Gah, I'm going to be poor the rest of my life....
  10. My neighbor does have an amazing woodshop and does some awesome work, He builds cabinets counters nice shelving and repairs old antique furniture. It might not be exactly what you want but its a great way to hone skills and it allows you a perfect reason to own the finest woodworking tools for any other hobbies you might have as well
  11. wanted to say something about degrees but am to tired lol
  12. I'm thinking about picking this Adcom GTP-400 Tuner/Preamp up. I really don't care to buy something thats closing in on 20 years old but maybe old school quality applies as it does in car audio? or maybe its just because the products reside in a less stressful enviroment
  13. EH who needs them pretty, as long as they sound pretty lol
  14. oh and Jim thanks for listing companies whose interconnects are more than my entire budget
  15. How much would those big BIB's of yours cost to buy from you(- shipping)
  16. I'm looking at the GTP-400 and its like 20 years old and barely in my price range. I guess maybe my budget is too low and expectations too high
  17. goober.... lol
  18. It's never an investment for a goober like me who won't ever sell his chit
  19. Home audio is expensive AKA: chit really holds its value
  20. definition of heaven
  21. Are there any downsides to a tuner/pre-amp?
  22. Hopefully should work now... http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=...ideoid=21813456 Again sorry for the poor quality

  24. you mean 60 minutes of dead silence? Hell, I would pay for 60 minutes of dead silence
  25. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect yours. However, I get a long with a lot of the people in the jello and crunk thread and if they lived near me I'm sure we could all be good friends. I'm not saying any of those guys are meeting me in Tulsa but there's one guy that seems pretty cool. SSA sure doesn't ever have any meets *cough* *cough* There's been 2 California ones, multiple Arizona ones, and tons of Virginia ones.... and every time Sean goes somewhere and meets someone You ever come to Texas, sean?
