how do i order the recones the loaded btl's. i need 2 recones for 2 15inch fully loaded btl's. dual 1ohm. i emailed fi audio and no answer.

yeah there is still more work to be done. i am losing alot of air to the trunk. i need to seal it off. if i open the trunk, the score jumps up to 154. gonna be bassracing today. it is tune to around 46hz. it is peaking at 50hz on the tl now.

johnny if you had to send that sub in then it would cost too much. that sub weighs a ton. lol. why don't you do it yourself. if you can't, doesn marshall white live near you. he recones subs all the time. btw its awesome how you have a xxx as a spare.

btl's are more than just decent sq. i love the way they sound. very deep and commanding. i listen all kinds of music like liljon, pussycat dolls (yes i like them), pink floyd, etc... the btl's maintain their sq even at high volume. for a spl sub you will be surprised how they sound. only downside for me was when i was playing some fast beat trance music. it just doesn't sound as good.

yeah i was thinking the same thing. my box is tuned to 38hz though. i have a 260a ho alt with 2 kinetik hc2000 in the trunk. i am thinking i couldn't find the right frequency.

i burped it at 43hz.

last sunday at a comp hosted by doug stockton of sonicfx, i metered my car with 2 btl 15s loaded and 2 orion 2500d. db drag i only got 147.9 (not too happy with that score) bassrace i got it up to 147.2 i was happy with my bassrace score. the thing that was amazing was the subs never lost its sq when i was hitting 147.2 playing music. it sounded clean and didn't lose control. very amazing subs.
