  1. In the back of my escape there is little room, especially with the rear strut towers protruding about four inches out each side. The space I have to work with is as follows: 40" wide, 24" deep on top, 32" deep on the bottom. which comes out to be about 10 cubes. The height is what can move, although 18" is ideal. I'd like to keep the box rectangular but if I have to make the back slanted for space that's fine. I want the box to be ported but I have very little room. What type of port should I use and will this work for two 18's? Brand is yet to be determined, I'm still in the planning stage.
  2. It's so nice when everything is already in the trunk.
  3. Just to get louder? Definitely worth it.
  4. Don't know if this is in a good spot, but does anyone have ear bud recommendations? I saw on the Audioque site they have a pair of ear buds for 25$ shipped that look nice. My Creative ep-830s are getting old, and only the left one fits in my ears. http://www.audioque.com/AQ-EB01-Ear-Buds-_p_72.html
  5. I'd probably just turn it off. Like said above, let the Dcon break in for a bit on that JL. An AQ750 would work well on that!
  6. Love the car! And your back seat passenger.
  7. Photos aren't working for me either :/
  8. I haven't had any experience with the skars, but I've heard there along the same line as the SA series, plus you get an enclosure for .01$. Rubicon amps are surprisingly well built for their price.
  9. 390$ http://www.ebay.com/itm/Soundstream-RUB1-2500D-2500W-RMS-Class-D-Monoblock-Amp-/190588028114?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item2c5fee84d2 $285 www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-AK4-4 72+ ship Total = 760$
  10. Also the up loader won't work, and the basic one doesn't pop up!
  11. The new classified system deleted the old for sale thread! Where can I find the old ones that were posted, I do not want to put a half hour into re-posting pictures and retyping all that information!
  12. Skar VVX12s with the enclosure they build plus a Soundstream Rubicon amp plus wiring kit: should be less than 800, I don't feel like searching
  13. 90 amp alt can hold my 1500w amp just fine. I only get slight dimming if I am running it full tilt for 10 mins at idle. And that's just slight dimming. As long as you have a stong battery under the hood you're fine. AND the 90amp alt on my old taurus held 2250 watts total for about 3 mins before dimming. With a terrible duralast gold.
  14. Go for the SA-15! You can pick a B-stock one up for a good price. I upgraded from two P2D412s to my SA-12s, and I also like lows. Depending on your box frequency, SA-15s could get low. Ran my two 12s on a TRX2.550, putting out 550 dirty watts to them(I don't clean my watts too often). They were definitely louder than the P2s.
  15. See if you can sell your wheels for a higher price first.
  16. I dislike this new forum update, Double post.
  17. Ayyo any of you ***** eva get swerved by the popo pigs up in this hizouse? I got swerved because I was playing full tilt downtown next to a police officer. Why you gots to be playa hating on me I'm just sitting here sippin on my guiness, you just wish you were gansta like me. No. Grow up.
  18. Stock alt, stock wiring, stock battery all ran my 1500w amp fine with pretty steady voltage. You don't really need another battery unless your pushing a lot of power or have a terrible charging system.
