thanks for the info. i dident get a chance to set it today, too busy at work. probally do it next week. i have a 15"Q with a SoundStream 1500D. iam purty sure the sub can handle that amp fine. if i were to set it with a DMM what voltage would i be looking for?

ive searched for a while with no luck. i have access to a O-scope to set it but i was wondering if ther is anything special i need to know to set it?? any info will help too.

thats my brothers truck with the 15Q. just wana add that it has a soundstream 1500D on it. and absolutly NO sound deadining in the truck. and our first time at a spl show hoping to build a box soon and get rid of that POS pre-fab box. they had a local show that we made it to just before they closed the meter. did a 142.9 in the kick.

i have a 15' Q. want a box that will get really loud. recamended size is 2.6- 4 cu ft. @ 28-33Hz. with 12- 16 sq. in. of port per cu ft. would a larger port be better than a smaller one?? i was thinking of doing 4 cu ft. @ 35 Hz. with a 6" x 10.5" port. how long would i need to make the port to tune at 35Hz??

well they will be sealed in .5cu ft each. so the 52Hz tuning shouldent matter right??

iam wondering what you guys think of the 10" Critical Mass LS102 sub. http://criticalmassaudio.com/catalog/index...amp;productId=2 i can pick up 2 of these for $450. do yall think this would be a good deal? how to they sound? iam not looking to win and compatitions, just want some clean sounding bass. would appreaciate any info, good and bad?

i just orderd a 15" Q that will be powered with a SoundStream 1500D. will be buliding a box for it in the next few weeks. so ill be around geting info and asking questions along the way. this will be going in a 97 nissan hardbody. i also have a 06 nissan Frontier 4x4 NISMO that ill be installing a system in this summer.

the order was placed about 2 hours ago. ill be sending Shawn a email tonight to try and get the dual 2 vc

my brother just placed an order for a 15" Q with dual 1 ohm coils with out telling me. and he doesent know much about car audio. hes running a soundstream 1500D, do yall think the sub and amp will be alright running at .5ohm? or should i try and change the order to a dual 2 ohm coil?
