i think it would be smarter to mount the amps on the box...or underneath the box if you can...

my stinger volt meter has 3 wires... 1 for ground... 1 for ignition switch (so it turns on when the key is in "on" position) and 1 wire for where you want to see the voltage... the power input on the amp is a good spot like you were asking.

x2, those guts are purrrrrrty thank you went to lowes today and had them cut me a piece of plexi for a clear back cover....was 50 bucks for the plexi but it was the thickest they had so it was well worth it....it came out perfect!!

thank you. motor puts out 280 ftlbs of torque i have the dyno graph somewhere on my comp ill try to find it.
