No the birthsheet has it at 3,126 at 2 ohms and 3,546 watts into 1 ohm but that is measured at 14.4 volts. Not sure how they are getting though. I just never felt them really warm until today. I know they are power hungry and i got the voice coils tested today. They all read 1.5 volts so they are above the 1 ohm level i thought they were.

I have them on a Rockford Fosgate 2500-1bdcp thats sending about 3,400 to both subs. Maybe its too much power? I dont want to damage the subs since they are a few months new.

Fella's, today i decided to put some volume to my FI BL 12's and noticed very quickly that the dust caps got hot. I know it has to be one of three things. Either the amp is giving too much power to the subs, The amp is clipping or the voice coils are wired incorrectly?? I never noticed this until today. Any ideas?

Fella's i was wondering about the decals from FI. I want to purchase the white decal so it will show on the rear window of my car but which color do i choose on the page here to get the white decal? Also the ones they send with your purchase dont work at all. How do you get the to not show the rear when installing them on your car?

I agree!! I think i was more worried about the enclosure being correct air space than anything.

I have no idea about the port area because someone built it for me. It has 2 inch baffle, 1 inch bracing inside and 1 inch all around the outside. The reason i think they need alot of power is because i had a set of 12W7's running on this amp and at half volume you couldnt sit in my SUV. With the FI's in i actually had to adjust the gain up to get the same output.

I just recently bought 2 FI BL 12's fully loaded with 4 inch voice coils. I have 2 questions for the forum if you guys can please help with me. First i am running a Rockford Fosgate 2500-1bdcp on the and since the subs are dual 1 ohm is this enough power for them? Second, the enclosure i had built for them is 4.23 cubic feet after everything and tuned to 33 hz. Will they sound good in this enclosure or should i have made it bigger? The amp puts out 3,526 watts total. Thanks in advance.
