I recieved an email saying My order # 1001 has shipped back on February 19th. It still has not arrived??? I am trying to contact FI to let them know because it may have got lost somewhere. I know the postal system is screwed up.

So i shouldnt worry about damaging the subs then??

I just have not leaned on them hard yet because i dont know if they will stay inside my enclosure or not...

Yeah they are SP4 coils so thats probably why. Dont get me wrong it absolutely hammers i was just wondering why the different excursion. Thanks guys for all your feedback....

The 2 re-coned subs read 1.1 on each coil and the other 2 subs read 1.4 on each coil.

The box is a common chamber enclosure. The subs are all dual 1's. The other thing is the BL's i have are all the fully loaded ones with the 4 inch voice coil. Well when i ordered the re-cones they didnt have the 4 inch coil anymore so the 4 inch coil i got in them are from SP4 subs i think.

I just did a re-cone for 2 BL 12's and it seems that the 2 re-cone 12's play harder and have alot more excursion now than the other 2 12's in my enclosure. Is this because they were re-coned or is there another problem? I had all the coils metered yesterday and the 2 re-coned subs coils read lower than the other 2. Would the lowere impedence make them play harder?

Shawn, was wondering if i could purchase 2 rubber trim rings for a set of 12 inch BL's i had re-coned?

Well because i had it custom made for the subs. This is my first quad setup.

I was hoping that it wouldnt be too small.

I am running 4 FI BL 12's in a 6.75 3net cubic feet enclosure tuned at 32hz and was wondering if thats too small?

My definition of good is will they wang hard and handle the power? I had to recone 2 of them because they were dual 2 ohm and i needed all 4 to be dual 1 ohm so i could bdsyn the amps at 2ohm final.

The cap is out now.....I have 2 XS power 2700 batteries in the rear and a 270 amp Mechman alt up front.

Also I was wondering if 6.75ft3 net volume at 32hz is good for 4 FI BL 12's in a ported enclosure with about 6,000 watts of power??

I just got 2 of my BL 12's reconed and was wondering how long do i play them normal before i give them the business? Basically the cone is stiff again so more break in time needed?
