  1. Just ordered a 12" Xcon. Thanks for having this black friday sale. I'm looking forward to hearing this bad boy.
  2. What would be louder? Having a 12" in the optimal ported enclosure (2.6ish cubes), or putting the 15" in a 3.25-3.5ish cube enclosure? The optimal for the 15 is 4 cubes. I will be using a saz-1500 to power the subs. I am tihnking the 12 with the larger enclosure would be better with 1500 watts as opposed to the 15 with an enclosure a bit smaller then suggested.
  3. Are the models available anywhere for bassbox pro? I noticed that some of the parameters arent available on the site for Le etc.
  4. All things equal the 15" has the potential for approximately 4.5db more output. In subbass audibly twice as loud is around a 6db difference, so it wouldn't sound twice as loud but it would definitely be noticeably louder. But it also depends on what you mean by a "bit tighter fit". It's possible to try to stuff too much sub and enclosure into a trunk, making the effective difference between the two options much less. If it would comfortably fit the 15" in a proper enclosure I would say go for the 15". If realistically the 15" and enclosure is just too big for the space then you would be better off going with the 12". Thanks for the reply. My brain is telling me to go with the 12", but the bass head in me is telling me to get the 15".
  5. What is the "Rule of thumb" regarding a 12" xcon and a 15" xcon? Say both subs are tuned to 32Hz and are in their "optimal" ported enclosure. Should you expect the 15" to be twice as loud? We tlaking 3dB, 6dB, or even 10dB? I am facing this same dilemma where my old accord can easily fit a single ported 15" xcon, but in a year or so I plan on getting a new car with a smaller trunk. The new cars trunk will easily fit the 12", but the 15" will be a bit tighter fit and I am debating if it will be worth it.
