  6. I have a few dozen pics I'd like to upload to post on here. Nothing fancy as I'm not much of a photographer, but I have tons of box pics that might give some of you ideas. My webmaster hasn't been in contact with me for a while and without him I can't upload pics to my server. If you'd be willing to host the pics for me, let me know and I'll get in contact with you.
  7. I'm going to have to disagree with you based simply on the fact that nobody else has. Your electrical system and enclosure are the two main factors that decide whether your system rox or sux. A strong electrical system is vital. It provides the current that your amps use to amplify the input source. If your electrical system is only capable of 80 amps of current at any given time, it's pointless to even purchase a 1000+ watt amplifier because no matter how efficient or well made it is, it's not going to put out it's rated power. A well-built enclosure can also make a world of difference. I'm not just saying this because I build enclosures for a living (then again, maybe i am...). If your enclosure is improperly tuned or doesn't provided the right amount of airspace, your subs will likely sound like crap. I've seen dozens of guys that go out and drop a few grand on equipment, only to turn around and throw their woofers into a pre-fab qlogic or BB enclosure. It's like putting a plastic intake manifold on a 454. It might hold for a while, but you're not going to be satisfied with the end result. I say 90% install, 8% product, 2% milk
  8. I'm new to the board and I have a problem, so I'll kill two birds with one stone. First off, glad to be here. Hopefully I can share my infinite knowledge of Fruity Pebbles and Poprocks, and you guys can teach me something about car audio in return My name is Donn Ballenger and I run a small internet based company called Gnome Audio. Some of you might have heard of me or know me from other boards, the rest probably don't give a crap. At any rate, it's always great to see a board that's mostly free of the general lameness that goes on at SOME other boards *cough*ca.com*cough* Anyway, this part's for you Aaron. Captain Canada (aka steve) told me to shoot you an email yesterday but when i try i get an odd mail delivery error. If you could, please contact me at [email protected] with your correct email addy and any questions or info you might have, and I'll get back with ya ASAP.
