Why doesnt my Q 12 work?
how the hell did you determine this? sounds to me like you have no idea what your talking about.. It could be the tinsel leads, I had a sub that exhibited the same problems and it was the tinsels. It is hard to imagine happening on the Fi though, as I believe they use the sandwiched leads unless it was a model before they started doing it.

Can anybody at FI help me out please?
What coils did you get? If you got the D2 ohm coils that is the universal option.

Three 12" Kicker CompVR's in a Chevy Caprice
I've seen Fi at my local flea market. They had two 15" new magnet style BTLS.

xxx components
There used to be a dealer in Pontiac but the last couple times I was in there I haven't seen any RE stuff besides like what looked like they were clearing out. There is a way you might be able to go but I doubt you would get a warranty with it.

Huge delima
Your port is way to small.

why
You need to have more then 25 good posts(no whoring) to sell here. They want people to be contributing members and not people that are just trying to use the site to sell stuff.

saz 2k or saz 3.5k
Unless your chasing tenths on a meter there is no reason to put more then rated to the sub. Go with the SAZ-2000D.

Box question
The panels are right. It has to do with the way the panels are oriented to fit with one another. It is kind of hard to explain without a pic, but the left side is the side with the port so the side is connected the the back panel. So 17.25 plus .75 for the back panel width = your 18" depth. The right panel is connected to the front and back panel so 16.5 plus .75 for the front panel and .75 for the back panel = your 18" depth.

are these specs bullpoop or what? ax 5600g 5 channel
You could also think about the Zed leviathan 150X6 @ 4 ohms but that might be a little out of your budget also.

Just ordered my 15" SSD
Out of those I would go with the MTX as it is the only one with a variable subsonic filter.

Welcome to the IHoP
google has it. type in sonotube followed by the size you want to look for. I would follow that up with "local". There has to be some construction place near you. that's how I found it..... but then I decided to go with MDF. not as original, but I think it will hold up better in the long long term. Thank you, its gotten me closer.

Welcome to the IHoP
Does anyone know where to find large sonotubes? Largest Lowes carries is 12"ID, I found a MI company that makes 14"ID but I still need larger. Something like a 16"ID and 18"ID.

What happened to the Recent Topics thing?
SSA took it out because when they upgraded it got a glitch in it, I believe they are going to put it back up when the glitch is fixed with it.

sub box help
If you wanted to follow Alpines specs for a box I supposed you could do it. They recommend 1.3ft^3 @ 36hz after all displacements which seems on the small side.
