  1. I had this RF 8 and it just wasent getting the job done so i had to get the sa-8, and wow what a huge difference!!! Im using the same box but had to get a better amp !
  2. thanks again man i have a Rock ford p2d48 and its just not getting the job done so i cant wait to try out this sundown and i m upgadeing my amp too!!!!

  7. yea just by the looks of the 2 id say the sundown may be a little more durable..but ive heard nothing but good things about ID..
  8. I need some advise from actual users or if u actually heard either one of these ive been looking for about 2 months now and ive narrowed it down to these 2. so of only these which would u choose????? one sub setup ported in the trunk 350w @ 2ohms....thanks for the advise
  9. i already have an 8" setup i have a Rock fos. p2d48 and it dosent perform like i want it too but i also have a cheap amp that dosent have any power, so im replacing both! its in the trunk of a 09 malibu

  11. Yea that seems like the most popular 8"sub in the universe. I guess im going to have to get the sa-8 when is the v2 coming out???
  12. To what lithium asked yes im keeping my current box. Its. 6 ported and mounting depth is like 16" I think..just want a better performing sub..

  14. Ok to what Luke said its a single sub setup ,ported, 425 amp at 2ohms. In trunk in 09 Malibu.
  15. Ah I know that all the premium subs are everyones first suggestion, but im a trucker and im hardly ever home. So I really don't want to put $140 to $200. For one sub.

  18. Well since I already have a box for the 8 setup I already have I was just going to go with a better 8. Like I said I don't want to put a lot of money into it but now I wished I would have got a 10 or 12. But I was under the impression that the smaller the driver the better the quality. But I guess thats changed over the years.anyway if you want I could post all the 8s im looking into its like 6.
  19. Hey Impious give me some suggestions plez??? $100 or less is my budget..ive looked at sundown and a ton others would like to spend a little less then a 100 if i can get a quality driver. Im a truck driver and im hardly home so i really dont want to put a lot of money into it. I already have a Rockfos P2d48 250 rms. but i feel theres a lot missing from what i could get out of an 8!! and its ported....thanks
