  1. i have found that your enclosure will allow your subs to shine or sound bad....i would look into upgrading that enclosure, most amazon enclosures i looked at are tuned too high and do not have enough port area as above poster touched on...i would look into getting a box built for your subs IF that is gonna be your set up for a while. just my 2 cents
  2. thr BRZ line gets my vote, i have one and am very happy...just my 2 cents
  3. thanx guys...preciate the views, not much feedback...thinking of upgrading amp to BRZ2100...
  4. im running a brz1200 on a 15" Q and with 0 ga to amp i had serious dimming, need to get big 3 done but I did upgrade front bat and that helped alot, i would reccomend a bigger battery first...and get the biggest that you can fit and afford...im wishing i got a bigger battery!! just my 2 cents!!
  5. i stand corrected...so it depends if the sub can handle it...is this where the smell factor comes in? and also clipping cant be good for your amp also...right? just some noob ?s (cause imma crank that gain up on my damn amp!!!! LOL)
  6. I was under the impression that gains are supposed to match head unit voltage out put? That brz goes up to 9volts...if I'm wrong sir please correct me by advising me what is wrong with what I said was it that clipping was bad? Or that if you clip your amp it heats up coils and heated coils are a good thing? Just curious...
  7. You need to do some more reading on the site.
  8. full gain=clipping=bad=need new sub soon
  9. I looked at the MB Quart and it def looks sexy...i like the piano finnish...but went with the brutis due to CEA compliant/cert....prob pretty close to the same guts anyways (just guessing there)
  10. What about the hifonics Brutus brz1200 for about $150...that's what I run right now or go with the brz1700 for about $220. Both found on EBay
  11. so what do you think?
  12. I will say from experience Honda trunks rattle like a mofo...working on that but side mirrors don't go to crazy and since I affixed rear view mirror with some JB weld it's holding up nice, not much door or panel flex. With the rearview, the mirror doesn't shake too bad its that it kept falling out of the windshield adapter! LOL was on the freeway once and the damn thing shifted my car into N and I didn't realize it...I thought the trnny was shot!
  13. Pioneer and Kenwood for my vote, would you also offer IPod cables, wiring and such?
  14. Hello all! ive been watching the fourums and learning from all the great info. I have allways had some sort of beats in my trunk for as long as I have been able to drive (going as far as shoving my old house speakers in the trunk of my moms car when i borrowed it) and have allways just "thrown" whatever equipment i could find in the trunk for some bass (was hooked on Bass after i heard Too $hort-Cusswords and some Nemisis-Munchies for my Bass on my friends system back in the days!!!), never considered the all so many things that go into a system, box size/type, amp, electrical and wire...its amazing to think back on the damage if done to some equipment Ive owned in the past.... anyways thanks for all the info and just wanted to finnaly introduce myself!!!
