I had a bose trailblazer ss and if you are going to add a sub or change the speakers just switch out the whole bose unit. You can buy a pac adapter that will let you maintain steering wheel controls on aftermarket head units. The bose unit does not do increase volume by turning the volume up. It works through the amplifier and turns the gain up i believe. Look into the bose unit before you start modifying it. Just saying...

id buy one if you would split them up...

alright so i am now really looking for something under 2" in height and for less than 250. mono amp would be fine.

currently its just going to be 1 250 rms woofer but i might get a second if it fits in the right spot. so i would like to have the option for at least 250 x2 at 4 ohm

what if i use the ARC AUDIO KS 125.4 and bridge it to 2 channel at 250 @ 4ohms?

I was just wondering if he knew if brands/subs that were that shallow off hand. I could find them used just don't know what to look for.

the box is going to be going down the side so max is like 5.25 maybe a touch more. I know its shallow.

Get a d4 sd12 and run it at 2 ohms off that amp. why not just run a 2ohm at 1 ohm? is that just cause 800 watts is safer? I think the sundowns can take more than they are rated usually.

yeah thats what i was thinking not to much out there with that depth.

Going to run it off my cadence a7hc. so 1200 max at 1 ohm.

Specs are: 1 ft 3 sealed. 5.75 mounting depth Going to be a stealth box custom made by someone other than jl... I was thinking sundown sd12? Anything out there that i could fit in a box like that and get some decent output?

Looking to sell my xcon. I got it off SteveMead back in september. The sub works fine i just need the truck space in the winter and will work on a new build after. The sub was run off my Cadence A7HC at 1 ohm. Never clipped and works fine. Here is a picture of what the sub looks like. I want to go with a 4" aero for this temporary build. I am going to go 24x13x13 with 4" aero at 14.5/8ths long. Tuning will be around 35hz? Volume should be 1.5ish after displacement?
