Well Is this Nick? Can you tell me if an RE SX12 has made it to your shop in the last couple of days?

In my first post about this you said something about power handling increases. Is that still possible and if so would it cost more money? Also could you check to see if I meet the free shirt requirement? I hope my sub gets there soon bc I cant wait to have it back. Hit me back with any info.

You can get 4-Fi Audio BL 15's each with flatwind coils for $1196 shipped each with a 1 year warranty. The flatwind coil option increases power handling meaning these can handle more than the SX's and if you ever have trouble with them, its cheaper to get these reconed than to get RE's reconed. Idk why everyone is hating on Ben. ED's service has been nothing but great for me. I have an ED nine.1 and i love it. I use to run RE until they decided to go corporate and jack up all the prices. I'm in the process of getting my 12 SX into an Fi/SX hybrid. Idk any other company that has a 5 year warranty on their products and I'm with you, oxsign. I like the matching look, which is why I'll probably buy a nine.4 in the coming months. The only problem ive had with my nine.1 is the mounting feet slowly rattling loose but that was an easy fix. I just swapped out the screws for bolts and nuts.

I have an optima yellow top right now and its used for everything, starting and audio equipment. I'm looking into getting a new battery and was wondering if I should buy a red top and use it for starter battery and use yellow top for audio. Any suggestions?

Who has the best deal on 1/0 wire? I'm looking to upgrade from 4 gauge to 1/0.

Hey Scott, I forgot to ask you in my email. What tweaks did you come up with for power handling? I have an ED nine.1 pushing the sub and it does 1200rms @ 1ohm at 12.5v so I know its pushing more at 14.4v. I'm wondering if that is why the spider is starting to tear. And would these increase the price of the recone or no?

Well my amp does 1200x1 @1ohm at 12.5 volts. Rms on a stock BL is 1000w. My amp really pushes more since my battery puts out around 14.4 volts and the BL I'm buying has flatwind and cooling. I think it should work just fine. Tough part is going to be the box.

I'm planning on upgrading from my SX 12 to a BL 15. Has anyone run this sub off an elemental designs 9.1? I'm wondering if this will be enough power. I plan on posting a build log when i start work on the box.

How does that box sound? Im guessin the packing peanuts are just like polyfill. I'm really interested in this because i have plans for a BL 15 in my regular cab silverado.

How many cubic feet is the box? Im thinking about a similar setup in my silverado regular cab.

Does anyone know how i get a recone kit for my SX? My buddy talked to someone on here and they said it was possible to recone it as an Fi. Im jus wondering how I go about getting one.

Yea well im positive we can fit them. We fit a 12" RE SE behind the seat of a regular cab s-10 so 2 10's in a silverado is no problem.

well thanks for the info on the fi's. As for the comps, i love em. They are really clear and loud and i have yet to put them on an amp. I can't wait.

I am fairly sure you cannot have the coils together, though I may be wrong... You are very right. My friend sent me the thing saying both. My bad. ok so jus the flatwind.
