edit: link is not working for me for some reason, let me see what i can do. since my link is not working at the moment, the sub is a: Custom Built TC LMS 4000, 4 Magnet Slugs + TI Candy Blue Basket + Spaced TC Spiders Specs: 15" Sub with cooper threatment, Dual 1ohm, Beefy 8 Layer Coil w/ long WW and cooling (NOT LMS COIL), Candy Blue Ti Basket, 2 Spaced TC Spiders with leads sew in. The Sub Was Built for daily aplication and will do decent if numbers are needed, 2000-2500w all day long (Coil will handle way more in a powerfull motor) i am not the original owner who built this sub, but this sub only has about 5-10 hours of play time after the recone on 1100 watts (AQ2200 at 2 ohm) PICS ARE NOW UP =D thanks, and let me know what 15's you have. PS: I NEED something that wires down to 1 OHM, that is why i am asking for trades because this sub results in a .5 ohm. i simply just do not have enough cash flow at the moment to get the electrical upgrades for my truck to handle that low of impedance. if you have 2 15"s that wire together at 1 ohm, and are about 1k rms a piece, i will also be interested in that as well. thanks

tweeters, ohms, and my head unit?

tweeters, ohms, and my head unit?
So I am struggling on choosing a tweeter that's going to fit my head units power capabilities, and if the ohm load that the tweeter is will majorly affect my vehicles audio performance. My favorite tweeter that I am looking at is 8 ohms, and RMS's at 50 watts with a 1300-20000 frequency range, but will this tweeter perform fully off my deck if its asking for 50 watts at 8 ohms? another tweeter RMS's at 15 ohms, but has a 4 ohm impedance with a 3500-25000 frequency range....would i be better off with this because it more matches the RMS wattage of my head unit? lastly, I found another tweeter that surpasses all others in that it is 4 ohms, but requires 100 watts RMS....would the power of my deck even be able to make two of these perform well? not to mention they are twice the price, and idk if i would want to do that If one of the 8 ohm tweets, or the low RMS 4 ohm tweet would better suite my needs. Also, at what frequency range will you no longer see in music? is 25000 a little over the top? or is it not enough?...your help is much appreciated, thanks! I avoided labeling titles of tweets so that I could avoid a vs. thread.

1999 Jeep Cherokee, $1000 budget. audio restoration

1999 Jeep Cherokee, $1000 budget. audio restoration
In my town, we have absolutely nobody to consult for car audio...so I am in dire need of some advice. I have about $1000 budget (as posted above). I just put in a pioneer head unit, so that part is taken care of. With the budget, Ide like to replace the 4 stock speakers (all 5 1/4", 2 in the rear roof, 2 in the front door panels). And then I am sacrificing some space in the trunk for a sub box. My dimensions are 20" height, 35" width, 15" bottom depth", 8" top depth. I have no idea on what direction I want to go other than Im thinking 2 12's with the space I have and an amp to match them, but I really want to avoid extra batteries and alternators and so forth (if I can). Preferred music is rap, hip-hop, dubstep, and all kinds of rock. If you need any other information on the vehicle or anything, please let me know; I'm sure if left out some vital information on what my goals are here so please correct me. Your help is much appreciated, thanks!

1974 MGB, fitting a sub?
Okay so ive been doing loads of research on parts-express and so forth on finding a sub for a 1974 MGB. I really only want something super small and getting something for better sound quality than just two 6.5's in the doors. Behind the seats is a bit of space but want to keep mostly the stock look. However, there is a compartment where a second battery used to sit that is no longer there and I think I could find a small box in there. I measured the dimensions and can get about .15-.18 cuft gross airspace without making anything look out of the ordinary. I havent found much for the 8 inch woofers or subs that will suffice in that airspace, however there are various ones in the 6.5 woofer range that may work but I was hoping i could get some advice on here for direction. Also I would need a small cheap amp to match with whatever sub I can get in there as well, so information on that would be handy. Another thing I meant to mention is that this is a convertable with a soft top, so im sure that may effect the SQ as well. Your help is much appreciated! thanks!

recommendations for mid-bass speakers or subs?
what would you buy in my budget?

recommendations for mid-bass speakers or subs?
the 1508s dont work well in sealed and I just couldnt pull off a ported enclosure behind it. my budget is probably around $150 give or take $50 if needed. and for space I probably could do something up to .5-.7 cu ft. comfortably. anything else requires me to slide me seat far forward. mid bass sub, my bad on that one; was trying to describe something that could give me the bass of a sub that doesn't require alot of space, even though if there are some small cheap subs that work well in sealed i am willing for that option as well. as far as power goes I have a 4 channel power acoustic amp 1600D/4. wired at 4 ohms is 150 rms per chan, at 2 ohms its 180 and bridged is 360. thanks

recommendations for mid-bass speakers or subs?
I've done about 4 different setups in my single cab Toyota pickup all involving normal subs behind the sea,t but fail in the size of box, ports, and overall SQ. So now Im taking my DD 1508s out and putting them in a different vehicle but want something for my single cab still. I've tried shallow mounts as well and wasn't that impressed with it so I am now leaning on something that's gonna make good bass in a sealed enclosure as small as possible. I haven't done much research on mid-bass subs or speakers and was hoping for somebody to point me in the right direction. There is no way I am going to try and do anything ported anymore...it just wont work, something as small as possible is what suites me but getting enough bass for good SQ as if I were at a concert. I've got plenty of highs, and even some of my 6.5's in the doors and 6x9's temporarily in the back do good for the mid-range, but I want something that gets lower. Let me know if you need any info, thanks!

need a recone please
Have a request form out to PSI right now, hopefully they have something for me =D. might be hard to sell tho being as it would be my FIRST repair job and i have the bass tube enclosure it came with so i could put it in my Fiance's car. But if it doesnt sound spot on then selling it could be a good idea. i know i probably could get enough for it that i would be able to turn right around and get something from SSA or Fi tho; that is if my salesman skills are clever enough >=] Also, if anybody knows any other websites that do recones please lt me know. Thanks

need a recone please
cause its a free 12 and I dont care if its all mixmatched parts even if it doesnt sound stellar. just a fun project because i love music and where it comes from; so learning a thing or two from reconing something (if it fits the motor) would be a good experience.
