what amp?

awsome man. D2's get loud dont they

my two 10's were about the same loudness as my 12" d2 now. both setups sealed. I would garuentee 2 12" SE's would be louder. SQ cant compare to the D2 th B) ough. Although the SE's sounded very nice, just not D2 nice

i am very interested in these. how will the output of these be compared to say 1 12" D2. I would be interested in putting 2 of these in the rear deck to replace a 12" d2 since my BMW trunk is so tightly sealed and blocks so much bass from the cabin. Would these do well in an Infinite baffle setup or no? any IDEA what the power handling will be. These sound great im sure many people will buy these seeing how the D2's turned out and seeing how well Resonant did with the RE 8's

nice. and thats auto 330 too. which are pretty slow compared to dads 6 speed. which my dads is.

I doubt a 330i could take a GTP by a couple car lengths. Either your friend wasn't trying, can't drive, has a standard (not GTP), or your dad's 330i is heavily modded. I'm a track regular and have seen GTPs run 13s stock, and dip into the 12s with mods. what are u talking about...? A GTP is automatic, how can he not be trying or not know how to drive. both cars are stock, im not so sure whats so hard to believe. We can race again and tape it if ud like?

is the displacement on the new ones any different?

the problem is companies never get the subs in time by the due date. theres always some delay. ask me how i know

nick do u guys have any plans for new lines of subs or any other products? or are u guys just doing the component sets for now.

i think the rating on there is a typo. or i mean, it is a typo. Max means poo. viper is a very efficient amp thats why i got it. my lights dont dim nearly as much as with my JBL amp at 1 ohm.

directed makes orion, viper, precision power. so all these amps are similar but the viper puts out the most power out of them, why the directed is more money than the viper i have no idea.

ive read some reviews that they put out no where near theyr power at 2 ohms. and ive generally read on caraudio.com about people having ones that just died out on them or didnt put out the power they should. most people i heard this from bought theres from ebay i believe, so that could be part of the problem.

i would say its a step above hifonics. i personaly wouldnt get a hifonics amplifier. havent heard too many great things from users.

HA...I just bought my Orion's from the same company..got mine in pretty good shape...other than a plug not coming with it...pretty good people.. DAMN good price for 1400w are u sure the plugs didnt come with it? i thought that at first and went off to audio shops looking for some ideas of how to plug this thing up with power and ground and speaker wire. and i called the guy and they sounded suprised it didnt come with the plugs because it was supose to. so i looked back in the box and found em under the foam.

whatsup, i got my new viper 1200d in and when i open the box my jaw dropped, its such a sweet amp. i went into the garage and made a simple amp rack out left over wood. turned out pretty good wutchu guys think? maybe ill get a spot on SI's website in the demo section!

naw.... id give 800 to 1 d2.

the more power the better. get the 1500d. just keep the gain low amd ur amp wont break a sweat.

i didnt say magnum is worst on the list. i would take it over a w7 as well. It just is much easier to have a d2 if you dont have that much money. its a very eficient drive, which u could power without spending a ton of money, and not need any electrical upgrades. with a XXX its a bit more of an expensive driver, and needs a good amount more room than a D2 does. By the time ur fully powering a XXX u will need electrical upgrades and not to mention the sub is heavy as hell, also why i didnt get one. So all im trying to point out is that it depends on your situation and what will fit u best. That being said i freakin love my d2 it gets so loud for 1 12" and sounds the best ive ever heard a sub sound.

is this because you like the sound of the XXX or because you like how obnoxiously loud it can get? just wondering why a lot of peopler are saying they would take the XXX over any other sub if all were for free. because it can get obnoxiously loud and sound awesome while doing it. and it can handle a ridiculous amount of power.

i have heard all three woofers. this is what i would do depending on situation.... my car, small trunk, not gona run much power, need most bang for the buck sub, i would go with a D2. (which is what i did) an SUV or something with lots of room, enough money to spend on high output amplifier or amplifiers and enough money to upgrade eletrical, i would take the XXX. tons of money to WASTE, id go with the w7. if i had a choice of any sub for free with an amp to power it id take the XXX. So it all depends on your situation. but basically u cannot go wrong with any of em, theyr all amazing woofers.
