Fi wins in SQ
Lets say the "world" will see front stage and the rest of the install shortly. Fi has been good to me and it is about time some of these "internet" retailers see some of their products in the public spotlight, lets admit some of the best on the market are also some of the least known companies but produce the best products

Fi wins in SQ
Chrysler 300 running the Q's sealed with a Zapco C2K 9.0 (2200 wrms but only using roughly 600 of it during SQ judging) Almost forgot, during SPL testing I hit 139.8db and they asked me to compete in bassrace as well, turned the offer down though. Not bad for a SQ car with a sealed box and trunk car. They accidently thought I was competeing in SPL and had me listed on the leaderboard in 2nd place for quite awhile!

Fi wins in SQ
Went to my first SQ comp today and took home 1st place (IASCA) Running 2 Fi Q's Bass score was 16 out of 20 possible points. Would have been better score but the judge said I could have used a bit more power on the subs. (ran them set to Eric Holdaway's ears and some judges like more or less here or there) Way to go Scott da man, judge looked over the install after the SQ judging during my presentation and smiled when he saw Fi subs, said he was happy Scott was going strong (exactly his words). Damn Scott everyone knows you! I will admit I scored 26 points behind 2nd place for SQ due to front stage/imaging issues but stomped ass in install by 48 points. I will get that dreaded front stage dialed in be back at it. Almost seems unfair to win when my sound wasn't the best.....subs sounded awesome though!

Fi Stickers
I need to know how to go about getting some Fi stickers. I have posted a review on the Q and several other threads on the Fi Q. I know there was something about posting reviews and whatnot to get a free sticker and shirt if I remember correctly. I dont normally do the sticker thing but I have my first show coming up next month and I am going to "label" up for it.

mini review
If you ordered the Q and plan on going sealed you are in for a treat. I didn't car for the dryness of the ID, the Q is just buttery smooth. Almost forgot, you MUST break in the Q before you make any comparisons. I wasn't all that happy until they were broken in. Once they break in they are completely differnt subs, mine have been in for about a month now and almost seem to get smoother by the day.

mini review
Of course midbass and installation is VERY dependent. I was able to compare my car against another car (both Chrysler 300's) with very very similar installs and power. My car is running 2 12" Q's in a 2.8 cube sealed enclosure (about 2.48 cube after displacement) run by a Zapco C2K 9.0. The other 300 had 2 12" IDMax in a custom sealed box made to Image Dynamic specs. and ran by a Zapco Ref. 500m (one on each sub). I know the installers of his car and they are very talented and know their stuff. Of course I have more than double the power on tap but this review was for total sound quality only so really we only used roughly 400wrms of power during listening. His install and mine are so much alike you would think that maybe the same installers did the work. I found that interesting since he and I had never met before. I will say just incase he comes across this thread, that his car sounded fantastic! I like some points of his cars sound better than mine and vice versus. I would definatley be nervous if we ended up at the same contest going head to head with each other. (damn it I need to get to tuning!) Anyway, as most of you know the IDMax subs are soe of the best sounding out there. I would agree with that and his bass was tight, accurate and very defined. The one thing that I didn't care for is how "dry" they sounded. Accurate but "dry" in excess. Now, I didn't realize how good the Fi Q's really do sound. My Q's aren't dry, they, well....are just super buttery smooth. After listening to the same tracks, I believe the Q is just as accruate and the tonality is actually better. Bass drums sound like bass drums, and you can almost hear fingers going across bass strings. I guess thats what actually got my attention the most, bass strings are incredibly defined and controlled. I am not a reviewer of sort (as you can read) but I will say I am going to stick with the Q subs. (unless they come out with something better) I really have not spared much expense getting my car to show standards and these Q's are by far some of the best subs I have heard and for the money I don't think there is anything out there that can touch them, heck make that double the money. Good Job Fi!! Yes I said it I like the Q over the IDMax's. For you people running Q's ported and in SPL applications, more power to you, but do yourself a favor and seal them and listen to the sweetness. You are really missing out on the quality of these subs.

Chrysler 300 Install
Yeah, that really caught my eye as well. I think you achieved your goal, to me it looks nice because of its simplicity. It's nice that you have that cover for when you want to show off the stuff, but it just looks so nice to have it all hidden and clean. I'd like to do something like that, but I know it's not going to happen. Yes there is a falsofloor that drops into a slot the covers up the Eq, Batts, ect. Looks very clean that way. I have 180 ft^3 of Dynamat as well but I think I need some more in the doors and need to drop the headliner and do the roof. I am pretty impressed with the Q's, they are tight, fast and punchy but they can really get into the low end as well. I guess running 2200 wrms to them has alot to do with that. i have to admit I have never heard a sub get as deep and have the output that they have while running a sealed configuration, very impressive output when I really drop the hammer on them with rap.

Chrysler 300 Install
That was the idea...be as clean and simple looking as simple as possible.....much harder to do in my opinion. I was get more pics of the finished install to show how it looks now. Sounds impressive with 0 eq at this point. Stages extremely well, forgot to add the door pods and the factory look there.
