I was kinda wondering the same. Just thought it odd that someone would take over my thread. Its amazing how mouthy people are on the net, but usually so weak and timid in real life.

So I bought an 88 Bronco and like anyone, I went out and found a place to hang out on the net. I found fullsizebronco.com and looked around. Seemed to know a lot about four wheeling but not a lot about car audio so I thought I would start a thread. I have contacted hyfonics a couple times and no response. I don't think I will be doing any business with them in the future. I have sent an email to FI, but I think he is really busy and hasn't gotten back to me. I will try the pierce link though, I forgot all about them. Thanks, Lee

It was my little brothers sub and after half of the spider came unglued he didn't realize it and kept on pounding. The voice coil rubbed pretty bad and ended up killing the sub.

I have a 15 inch Hyfonics goliath quad coil sub that the spider surround came unglued and it fryed the sub. Does anyone know where I can get a recone for this sub?

I don't have any videos myself, but would say if you got the room and money to do three of them then you must do it for the sake of all that is audio! lol Seriously though I don't think you would be disappointed with even one of em, let alone three. As far as the port goes, not to fancy just did the math to divide it out to have two equaling a total of around 90 square inches. Here is a pic if it helps though.

I don't have a lot of pics but I will tell ya this......The DP21 is one sweet sub. Looks unbelievable and sounds ever better. A lot more accurate on fast bass then you will ever expect and simply kills on rap and all low end bass. If you got the money, power and room, GET THIS SUB! Got the new sub last Thursday and got it put in on Sunday. This is one hell of a sub!!! Just this one sub brought some serious boom to my buddy's truck. It loosens your throat and makes ya get kinda choked up. If you have ever been in a really loud vehicle you know what I mean. We ran a little rap through it and it of course loved it. The CD player skipped before we ever got anywhere near full volume. He brought out his CDs and it turns out he really likes country, which I was a little worried about. We put in some various country and it performed great with quite a bit of accuracy and over all great sound. We then threw in some old school quiet riot and again the sub performed great. I would say to anyone thinking of getting this sub.......DO IT! You will not be disappointed. I put this one in a 7.5 cubic foot box tuned to about 32hz and ran a single Sundown 3000D to it. I think the power had a little something to do with the accuracy of this sub so i wouldn't run anything smaller myself. So anyway...two thumbs up to Incriminator Audio on a simply awesome sub. I came home to a BIG box sitting on my steps. Low and behold it was the Incriminator Audio Death Penalty 21 inch sub for my buddies truck. I was planning on putting it in this coming tuesday. With out a second to loose I rip open the box and lift this monster out of the box. After removing the plastic bag from around the sub I noticed................................

I was wondering if anyone knows if the 21s are shipping. I got a friend that wants a little bass in his ride and I think this would fit the bill. Do you guys think a sundown 3000d would push it pretty good? What kinda box am I looking at as far as cubic feet and tuning for a daily ground pounder? I was looking around for an amp to run my single 12 inch Crossfire BMF. I was looking for an amp that would put out around 500 watts at 2 ohms. I found the Kenwood kac-9103d for only $200 and its rated to put out 900 watts at 2ohms and its 1 ohm stable. Its CEA rated so I assume it puts out the power suggested. Has anyone ever ran one, or better yet tested one? Almost 1000 watts for only $200 from a well known car audio company just seems to good to be true. I have never personally ran Kenwood amps before, but at that price I am willing to give it a shot. All opinions are welcome. Peace, Lee

I always suggest getting the biggest amp you can afford. You can always turn the bass down, but it will only go up so far. Alot of people will suggest getting an amp right at the RMS rating of your sub, but if you go bigger you will have more a lot better sound and if you ever change subs you don't have to buy another amp. What is the RMS of the sub you want to power up? What is your budget? What brands do you have at your favorite local car audio dealer? Peace, Lee

Didn't get a chance to meter it but we both agree that it is a little louder. It seems to be working great inverted, acually with the reverse surround it makes for a great sub to invert. The box is a little over four cubic feet and tuned to 37hz. I just wish the goliath had held together because it did sound a little better then the RFL.

Although the Goliath sub sounded awesome, it fell apart. The ring that the spider is glued to separated from the basket. We tried a lot of different glues but nothing worked. The same thing happened to my other brother's MA subs but the ring was wide enough to drill through and put in tiny bolts and nuts to hold it together. Hyfonics also will not even reply to e-mails about it so to sum it all up, the sub was awesome, but the support from the company is not. So, the only thing I had laying around to give him some bump was my MTX RFL that is pictured next to the goliath in a few previous pics. I had always heard they sound like crap, but we gave it a try anyway. I tell you what, it didn't sound as good as the Goliath, but its a long ways from sounding bad. It can't do real fast bass all that well but it can pound out rap with the best of em. I have decided to go with the RFLs in my van on second thought. Peace, Lee

O.K. here goes. Right now we have a 23 cubic foot box with a port thats 32 high, 9 wide, and 2.75 deep. That tunes us to 40hz. The blazer seems to do its best right now at 51hz. Now, here is the question. Should we shrink the box down to 14 cubic feet which tunes us to 51 hz with the current depth? That also gives us the ability to lengthen the port to tune us a little under 51hz. I had read somewhere that you acually don't tune to the frequency the vehicle likes, but instead 2-8 hz under it. Or should we go to 16 cubic feet and it will be tuned to 48 hz with the current depth? Thanks for the help, Lee

We are burping at 51hz. The port isn't rounded over. We tried different lengths for the ports and ended up with the best numbers right where we started at. The frequency didn't change much though with the different lengths, up to 24 inches deep. How is the best way to take up space in the box without disrupting the airwaves? The subs don't really look like they are moving all that much but I will have to look again. Thanks, Lee

Red tops are now $170, Yellow tops are now $200, and Group 31's are around $250. The orbitals were 180, but they sold them to us for $165. I remember buying my first red top when they were first coming out many years ago for around $160. I guess they got bought out by some company that wants to make Billions per year instead of Millions. Greedy bastards! Oh, well

Optima's have gone up drastically, so we said screw em and we went with the orbitals from Napa. They say they will discharge 1000 amps for 5 seconds. All of this got my brother a 154.1 this weekend in the mod 2001-4000 class getting him a first place. We have a few more things to do and hopefully get his numbers up a little. Lee
