For the past month i sent 4 emails to [email protected] for more information on his products and what I should use for my trailblazer. He hasn't emailed me back. Is there another way I can contact him? I dont know if he's out of town or if his email changed, I just want to deaden my vehicle lol.

I had a ap 1800 running my hdc3 15 but when I bought the crescendo bc2000 I felt it ran so much cleaner and better. I ran it at 1 ohm.

I got all my big 3 wire from Knukonceptz. Well i got all my wire from there.

Someone told me, i think bigjon, to stick a 3.5 mm jack and plug that into where the rca cables go in on the amp. Then play music and see if it still hums.

Try switching back to the old amp to see if that one works or not, if possible.

I've kinda had the same issue. I've read that a "ground loop" makes it do that. My problem was that my head units pre amp outputs are broke. Read about the ground loop.

That would be the RCA connections on the back that we're referring to. They use a pico fuse to protect that circuit and when something happens and it blows that little fuse the noise and other problems are the result. Did they say anything about being able to repair it? How old is it? I mean, if it's 5 yrs old and you only paid $100 for it in the first place (for example) it's probably not worth the time, trouble and money to send it off for repair. It's only 3 months old and I'm sending it to a pioneer service center to be fixed under warranty.

I also agree on the aq 1200 but also if you get the crescendo bc2k then you can wire down to 4 ohms and still get plenty of power, 850 rms, and still make those babies hit and if you decide to upgrade or add to more you can run it at 1 ohm. Jus look around and you can find one under 300 shipped. Also like impious said, 850 rms to 1200 won't be an audible difference.

I called pioneer and they said it probably has something to do wit the pre amp outputs.

Should I ground my amp and my second batt in diff areas or is that not the problem.

I cant get to the ecoustics link thay bigjon put up. The subs worked fine with the rcas thru my phone so its not the rcas. If its my head unit should i send it to pioneer or would i be able to fix it?

My head unit is only 2 months old. My second batt is grounded to the same place as my amp. Is that bad? I'm not sure how ur saying plug my 3.5mm cord into long run of rca?

I have a pioneer aftermarket radio and I've been reading about a ground loop. Could that be a problem even tho the subs work fine when using 3.5mm and phone?

Well i tried different rcas and a different amp and the problem still exist. When subs aren't even playing they are making a high humming noise which gets louder when I step on gas and rpms go up. I'm not sure what else to check!!
