So here she is everyone! A little over 5cuft NET tuned to 30.3hz with ~78sqin of port area

Box design was just completed today by Alton. DAMNNNN does it look good. I'll post up some pics of the design tonight. I love the 5% and already know that all my cars are going to have very dark tint. It just makes the vehicle look wayyy better. I don't like less than 5% on windows because it looks reddish pink and I kinda don't like it like that but from outside my car no matter which way you look at my fusion's side windows you can't see in at all. The tint on your truck makes it look so sickkk!

the problem i had with my blazer was that it was cherry metallic paint, blacked out, hids, and had a catless exhaust... it drew the attention. you're right though. i've never been stopped in my cruze in the year i've had it tinted. blazer was at least once every other week. fusion looks good man. i'm driving from St. Clair Shores to Southfield 4 days a week for school at LTU and have zero issues with cops. i get stared at daily by people on 696 but who cares lol. hopefully we get another warm week here soon so i can start building up my car. no garage means no work under 40 degrees lol Yea my tb was blacked out all the way up to the headlights lol Both cars have not been pulled over but both have been stared at hard by both cops and people. I love it I always end up having to do big builds when it's cold out. It sucks when it's so cold out. Luckily I do have garages at both my mom and dad's houses. I need to wire everything up tomorrow and friday. Then box build should start on sunday or monday.

If it was my boat I definitely would but it's my dad's and he isn't into the whole big setups. Plus we don't have much room with all the storage compartments filled. We have a small area in tho back left corner that could have the size of 2 10s. We have 2 alpine E 10s in 2 separate shitty boxes. He bought it like that for $40. The subs are not in the best condition.

Are the subs the same as audiopipe subs. I might get some 10s for my dads boat.

I remember when I use think that about the different sub sizes lol no offense to op at all. There is just so much wrong info out there. You will quickly learn all the right info on here. Keep the 2 10s and build a custom box for the subs and vehicle. That'd be best bet.

How big of a trunk do the challengers have? Always thought they were small. So you would get a 15 ssa sub? You better have a build log for all that!!

You can get both amps and just keep the gain down on them. Just becabuse you have thEyre rated for x watts doesn't mean you have to wuse it all. If it's a d2 xcon you can even run it at 4 ohms if you like until you get bigger alt.

For a battery look into the sears diehard platinum 31m. A few people recommended it to me on here. It's suppose to be a very good batt.

What's the finish on the enclosure? Just wondering

I live in hartland near Howell and I drive to Monroe once week and Im at u of m flint college through out the week and flint has so many cops. No problems though. I think if you drive fine and not to be mean but have a nicer car then you will be fine. I'm really hoping to go to some shows. I don't know if I'll compete but just to go. Do you have your build done?

Unless its for comps thats damn to get that much power and that sub won't like that power for long playing times. Just get a ~2500 rms amp and a nice designed box and you'll be set.

Swift, I do have 2 2k and 1 1k rms amps, but i'm not using any of them to their potential. The bc2000s will be used around 1500 rms each and the c1100.4 will just be powering a set of crescendo mezzo componentes. They're rated at 150 rms each, but doesnt mean it has to be. So that amp is not using much power at all. I really do get that you can't skimp out on electrical and I thank you guys for making sure it's up to par. What I will do is see if it's loud enough for me with voltage being fine. If not, I will look for an bigger alt. A lot of people say these monsters get loud even with low power! Thanks swift. I'm really happy with the equipment I have right now. Also Rick and Alton are great guys.

I doubt i would set it to exact rms I want, but something in that range. Like I said, I only play it as loud as I can when demoing or with friends for a short time. If it doesn't hold up well then I will search for a bigger alt and just keep gain down. Thanks Jay-cee

That's the one I was going to get for under the hood. The only time I play the loudest I can go is when I demo or with friends. When I just drive around I keep it at low to mid level. I sort of don't want to get a ho alt. What I'll do it get both batteries and see how it does. I'll go from there then. Thanks for the advice swift.

Thanks man, I just can't wait to get the box all done! Do you think that battery could hold up to around 3200 rms (subs and comps). 3k rms to 4k rms won't be an audible, so why buy all the electrical upgrades to get that last inaudible 1000 rms right?
