  2. If you can hold up a few days i can tell you how the aq750 is with the dcons Im wiring down to 1ohm.
  3. Oh geez. Facepalming myself I finally understand that diagram. Makes more sence now I kept think the wires from + to + and - to - where the subbox. LOL Silly, i got it now!
  4. I have 2 DCON DVC 10". so 300w:) 04 Grand Am. no build log but it will be in this once i start it ^ pics towards bottom. No upgrades. I just hope i dont need a HO alt
  5. with those specs above each sub will get 150 watts. here is how you read it: Watts per channel @ some ohm load so 300x1@4ohm = 300 watts on 1 channel at a load of 4ohms if I was you I would wire the subs to a 1ohm load! this equals more power! http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42#results also the above specs are for a MONO amp not a 2 channel amp. Which amp do you have? Also on ALL mono amps they have 4 output terminals which are commonly internally paralleled for easy wiring/ hooking up of speakers. So don't confuse a mono for a 2 channel based on the number of output terminals! specs for a two channel amp would look like this 125W x 2CH @ 4ohm Stereo 200W x 2CH @ 2ohm Stereo 400W x 1CH @ 4ohm bridged and specs for a 4 channel could look like this 100W x 4CH @ 4ohm stereo 160W x 4CH @ 2ohm stereo 320W x 2CH @ 4ohm bridged Rick also linked me this wiring Man thanks everyone for the help! Subs will be getting here monday. Building my box this weekend. Im trying to make sure i got this all down before i get everything put into my car and fuck something up LOL!!! Thanks!!!!
  6. But i thought mono amps only have one terminal for both - & +?
  7. http://www.audioque.com/AQ750-Amplifier_p_46.html Im pretty sure its not a mono but i dont know much
  8. So i didnt realize till after i bought my amp its a 2 channel amp instead of mono. So heres the wiring im going to do http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_2ch-br.jpg Now i cant understand my amp specs as i dont understand how to fully read them correctly. But there this 300X1 @ 4 ohm 500X1 @ 2 ohm 750X1 @1 ohm So my question is in the wiring i did how many watts will each sub get? Thanks
  9. Curious... also where did you route it to

One thing at a time LOL i still have to figure out what all the fancy gadgets do and hook it up first Theres just one thing im afraid of is that im suppling more watts to the sub than what their rated at. But i hope its not that big of a increase to do any damage. Just going to start off by turning my gain down and go from there
