  1. do work little guy!
  2. The new technology seems pretty badass.
  3. That it? Crazy what you can move on water.
  4. good stuff
  5. Truck sounds like poo JK lol. It sounds amazing. Some people spend too much time reading and trying to blueprint everything rather than do. Getting your hands dirty and actually trying new things. Not everything that works on paper works in reality. Sometimes you gotta go balls deep and fuck shit up
  6. I got under the truck, cleaned/scraped the frame treated with the rust/paint shit and it looks way fawking better. Painted the receiver hitch, tail pipe and bomb canned the finder wells. I can say it looks way better. Still gotta do the spare tire mount and get the whole truck painted but oh well. yuk Fender flares and all that jazz too.... Saturday, I should be able to get the HU in finally. Just going to cut up the factory dash bezel for now. Spent my extra monies on ordering an mechman elite 370a alt. 10 ton crimpers should be here tomorrow. So back to wiring Next weekend the blazer should be getting some wood.
  7. You need to go check out the new P3's I'll take a SA over it, but deff not a type R....
  8. Probably going to need more battery. Looking good though.
  9. Great pics. Makes me want to try some 8s even more.
  10. I've played with my IA 6.5 comps a little. I like them a lot already. Great clarity and depth for the price. You could look into CDT as well. I the com626 set a few years ago, again great budget set imo. I believe tantric sounds is doing a presale on the their HD series comps and they'll be in your price range. Taylorfade told me he really likes them so far, and for the price they blow others out of the water. The presale is on caco as far as I know. What do you have for power?
  11. Are you talking about charging to 16.8?
  12. height-bottom to top clearance. If he has a tall enough opening to run 18s. I don't suggest "necking" down.
  13. Some amps make way more power up on voltage. Take a 40.1 for example. On 12v, people are getting 4-5k, on 16v they're getting 8500-9500. Granted this is a smaller amp and the gains won't be that large and I'm sure op is saying 16.8 charging, so 14v? When you're competing every bit of power counts.
  14. The saz amps are going to be a little better quality but not worth the price difference imo. I tested two SAZ2500's for a friend and they're definitely strong amps. I ran two BC3500's for a little while and they're great amps. I don't think you'll beat their price to performance. What are you looking for? Strong low end? Overall musical clarity? I don't think you'll go wrong with either sub stage. You could do 4 X series 15's on two 3500's. That should yield quite a bit of output. Four SA15's on one BC5500 would be nasty too. 1,000rms is a good spot for a daily user with SA's. They will take more, but I won't suggest it unless you have a decent amount of experience. Do you have any electrical yet? Are you ready to drop the money needed to get the right electrical setup for this much power? Another option, if you have the height, is two X18's or Zv4 18s. A little more simple, lots of cone area, less power "needed"
  15. sucks about the spiders. nice video though.
  16. When those amps failed, they failed. Wasn't a oh hey lets throw some DC in the mix then go back to normal. Typically the sound board failed (that's if it was a v1) which happens extremely quickly and the amp shuts down before it cooks anything. I know this first hand. I beat the shit out of my ufo BTL's with the stock parts, which I'm not a fan of, but they didn't fail. Still curious as to why other brands with high powered drivers haven't had this issue well enough to raise a stink. Not everyone has a 6000gti inI their back pocket. 99% of people running these high powered subs are running cheap korean none QC'd amplifiers or Brazilian smoke machines. Usually running way more than "rated" power.
  17. Oh lawd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're gonna have to buy a recone.
  18. But we have heat lol. I tried putting the HU in tonight. The kit was allllllllllll wrong.
  19. They're revamping current amps
  20. Here's a small update. Pulled the stock battery to drop my D3400 in. Had to mod the battery tray. Pain in the ass using dremel cutting wheels lol. Repainted it. I went to start my big three and just getting ready to start running wire in general. Well couldn't find my hammer, roommate moved it and didn't tell me. Took almost an hour to find. I was pissed. I ended up breaking my hammer crimper once I found it. Got one crimp.... I didn't like the diyma 0ga terminals really... I also pulled the front differential actuator while the battery was out, to hopefully find my 4wd issue and I did. Stock Decent size difference. Modding the tray Took way too long with a dremel tool... Nice fit That's why it won't lock in I'm feeling my motivation come back lol.
  21. I love dem asses
