  1. Got two interviews setup. So hopefully I'll become a cable guy(always wanted to try it lol) or lumber yard worker lol.
  2. No sir. I made sure of it. The terminals have about 3" before they can touch anything. If they move, it's because I probably flipped my car lol. I'm trying lol On a chitty note. I lost my job today. I've been talking about finding a new one for a while now. So I guess this is my push in a new direction. It was a lot of BS rolled into one. They got rid of myself and another person today too. We both had the highest level of productivity in our designated areas.... Hopefully I'll be able to recoup from this before I have to start selling off my old gear. It's funny I updated my resume over the weekend lol.
  3. keep it going man!
  4. Got my Batteries from the winnings in Thank you XS power! Eventually I'll make a proper mount for them right were they are. Trying to help with weight distribution. Have a D3100 and NSB130ft in the spare tire well. Eventually three D3100's will be sitting in there for five total. From there I might add a sixth or a seventh if needed. I'll most likely being doing 3 runs of + and - off each batt into some custom busbars made by project DB. Always charge your new batts D6500 to D3100 Ghetto battery boxes lol Now it's on to do much needed maintenance.
  5. should be up the 195 I know 25 isn't much for a prosthetic, but it's better than nothing. I can definitely understand what Shawn is going through. Granted my conditions weren't permanent due the amazing Surgeries the VA performed. None the less, Shawn's story story got me a little choked up when I was reading it at work the other day. I hope we can meet the goal needed to make this happen. Sharing on facebook.
  6. I'll definitely stay up on this. Since you're somewhat local. I think You're only about 2 hours away. Usually takes me 35-40min to get to Slidell.
  7. Very Very nice. Amazing pricing.
  8. HawkEye Hey.I can PM you on **** because my membership expired. But i was wanting to let you know one of you amps is no good.Hooked it up to a sub and blew the subs and I hooked it up to another stronger sub and I would hear popping.I unhooked one amp and put the other in and the amp worked like a charm. What can we do about this? Please contact me asap Me Did you flip the master slave switch? HawkEye no the amp that is no good is the one that was set to master to start with.I didn't have them strapped or anything. The one that was set to slave to begin with is the one im using now and it work great. Me So it comes on fine? Was it popping with no input single? Double check how you had it wired up. I've goofed up on that before. Some mono blocks are - - + + and some like the powerbass are +- -+ popping noise is typical of a sub's coils being wired out of phase. How exactly did it blow the sub? HawkEye Yeah it comes on fine and everything. The subs spiders got burnt and tensil leads broke.I tried a completly different amp before I tried the good PB amp and it didnt make a popping noise with that amp either.I have the good PB amp hooking up now and its working great. Me Are you 100% positive you didn't double positive or negative the speaker leads? The next step would be to turn the gain all the way down on the amp in question. Ensure the filters are wide open, flip the master/slave switch once or twice and ensure you hear a good click when you flip back to master. Get power to the amp, hook up a DMM to the output leads with no input single. See if it reads anything. Then power it off, Get the RCAs hooked up and play a steady tone you would use to set your gains. Bring the voltage up to the proper level for whatever you need it set for. Or just leave it bottomed out. Hook up a known good driver to the amp with the DMM hooked up too. DMM should be set on AC voltage as well. The thing this, if the master amp(as I had it set) was bad, then neither amp would function. Since the slave amp relies on the master amp to do all the processing. Push come to shove, I'll help get it repaired. This is three weeks after he messaged me on here So what's the deal man? I offered to help fix the situation but you sold one of the amps? Just trying to figure out what's going on.
  9. Why didn't my message me back then? I offered to get it fixed. Why did you leave me positive feedback on cac o, then a week or so after message me on here saying your account expired there?
  10. you would be correct. These are my old amps. One popped(I'm thinking he double positived one of the subs) I tried working with him then no response. Shortly after, he posted them forsale.
  11. It's gonna be a tight fit. Two separate ports. Two on bottom, one up top centered. I'm thinking two 12.5" ports
  12. I'll be running three IA40.1's eventually I think eventually I'll set up some kind of mount for them. But my measurements checked out, and the seats hold them perfectly lol. D6500 and D3100
  13. Thank you for the encouragement. It's going to be a lot of money and time to finish this up. I'm going to repaint the car, get the suspension mods done right(already figured out) build doors, redo the A/C, get a new center console ans front door panels lol. That's not including the wood to build it. No problem man. I'm sure that a lot of people just see the free stuff and think you are set. I know how much it costs to do a build like this and it isn't cheap. I'll be rooting for you man. Exactly. I'll still be buying two amps pretty much out of pocket, another 3 D3100s(6 total) plus wire and materials lol. But a lot of people are like, "why are you selling your old gear?" I work an hourly job and pull side jobs so I can continue this hobby. I'll be selling what I can at really cheap prices to pass on the good fortune.

  15. I'm gonna need it! I'll be biting off a lot.
  16. There will be tons! Thank you!
  17. I'm assuming D1 subs? the BC3500 is rated for [email protected] fyi If you want a gain, get your batts and buy a second AQ2200.
