Brainstorming front stage
I'm down for a few day for recovery from a surgery. So I'm brainstorming about my front stage. 99 2dr blazer is the vehicle. Right now I'm thinking about loading my pillars will multiple full range drivers. Not really looking for super ess que but half assed decent imaging and response. The sub stage is going to be decently loud so I need loud up front. Right now, I'm looking at 3-4 of these per pillar. I really like the look of these too. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=295-352 Possibly four of these. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=290-226 Then I like the idea of 6 of these in each pillar but I need to make sure they'll fit http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=295-422 For the door, I'm looking mainly low power 8" subs 2-4 per depending price and power. I don't plan on going higher than 250hz, Maybe two of these per door http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=264-1102 Or four of these. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=295-335 orrrrr http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=295-484 All over the place. Just getting some of these ideas out of my head.

Zv.4 and Sp4
Well neither of those subs are designed to be "loud" subs. They're built for daily beating. The Zv4s have more usable throw and xmax. Zv4s seem to be power hungry, 3500 isn't much for a pair.

looks like it's tuned really low- Funkin Audio 00ga review
The thing about the knu, diyma 0ga, AT 0ga is the strands are very loose and it slides in the jacket so it appears to be larger than it is. I prefer a wire that is very tight which keeps it from fraying. The down side of the welding lead is the fact it's untreated copped so it's pron to corrosion in the elements. Granted you can use no oz and some shrink tube. The diyma is tinned cca. So it's cca with a silver tinning. The other thing I didn't like the welding lead is the thicker strands and in theory, the bigger strand occupy more space with less wire if that make sense. Overall I've been happy with the purchase. My least favorite wire I've used so far was the AT ofc. It's "undersized" compared to other car audio brands, it's not tinned and it's loose as fawk in the jacket.- Team Decent "Punisher" Build

sexy box- running wire through doors!!
If you have an electrical plug like my old car did, clothes hanger and fish tapes will not work. You'll have to pull the plugs out completely and make holes to run the wire through. If it's not too difficult taking the whole door off can be helpful. Some vehicles are way easier than others. Like running wire through the doors on my blazer, cake walk. I don't really like the clothes hanger method, you could end up damaging the factory wiring.- We were working on getting Tony's FJ ready for Heatwave..........b
