I need some of these
I'm not sure what you call these types of clips/fastener, but I need some. Anyone know where I can purchase a few.

Single and Dual Voice Coil
If you add upper harmonics to a sub, that would not give you deeper sounding bass. Maybe this would be good for a midrange or tweet but not for a sub. Maybe I read the thread wrong.

The Long Journey
This is a really tuff question to answer. There are so many great trumpeters in the world of all genre's. Latin music: Perez Prados' trumpet section. These guys were monsters on the horn. Perez's band was one of the first bands I had ever heard. My mom used to play his records all the time at home. Jesus Alemany from the group Cubanissmo. He's a master of modern latin trumpet. Serafin Aquilar. Trumpeter for Poncho Sanchez. This big boy has go some great lead chops. Big Band Lead: Wayne Bergeron lead trumpet with the Big Phat Band. WOW!!! If you've gone to the movies in the last 10years, you've heard Wayne. Check out The Incredibles soundtrack. Wayne has a few solo albums out also that are wonderful. He is THE hottest trumpeter in the LA scene. Bill Chase. Had a great band in the 60's and 70's. Check his stuff out, it's different. Stan Kenton's lead trumpeters (too many to list) Solo: Armstrong, Dizzy, Roy Eldridge, Clifford Brown (one of my favorite out of the bunch), Freddie, Miles and Maynard. This list could go on and on. I guess my favorite trumpeter is different for different times in my life. I listened to lots of Clifford Brown in graduate school. Maynard was the only trumpeter I really listened to in high school seriously. Now that I'm out in the Bay Area, I get to play with some great players and probably consider many of them my favorite. Hard question. I can't leave out my classical buddy's. Rafael Mendez Bud Herseth (former principal of the Chicago Symphony) Phil Smith- principal of the New York Phil Maurice Andre Dokschitzer Sam Trimble-my former teacher in Texas This list could go on. Enough for now....

Yeah, the rainbow has got to go. Yes, I do play the trumpet. That's what I do for a living.- The Long Journey
This was taken on one of my last gigs in Nevada. We got a little creative with Photoshop. Not a big fan of the rainbow, but whatever. EDIT: got rid of the rainbow and Maynard.- Fi-Ford Console/Enclosure...STEALTH
GREAT!!! Do you like having the bass up-front in the console? Having the sub in that location can really open up some headroom for you. I really like how you took the time to make everything blend with the interior.- AA Future
This is just curiosity. Not trying to stir things up by any means. I respect both sides.- AA Future
Well, it has been almost 1 year since the new line of subs and speakers were suppose to be released, and it has been only a few months since the subs have been on the market and the website has not been updated since about December 2006. Most threads on the forum have been directed to Fi to resolve problems, concerns, or questions. As an AA fan I would like to know what the future holds for AA. Will the company remain or melt into Fi. I'm not upset, just curious as to what Chad and the rest of the company has planned. More to come.........- some good component speakers

Sent you a PM Jacob about the 100.4.- Amp to run active

Not holding my breath.- Amp to run active
A NOOb question.......Do I need bandpass capability to run active 2-way? This would open up more options if bandpass isn't necessary.- Amp to run active
Still looking for a 4 channel amp to run an active setup in my friends car. Planning on running SEAS 27TFFNC Tweet and CA18RNX. I saw these amps and thought I should get some opinions from you guys. Here they are. Soundstream TRA960.4 MB Q RAB 450 PP A600/4 All of these amps are around $250 -325 and is the budget for amps as of now. Are there any other choices that would be better in this price range?- Shawn, Your Mids at WF?
Any projected dates?- hmmm how many speakers does it take ect...
Awesome!!!!! What drivers are being used?- Front Stage setup
If I went with that setup of the SEAS drivers, what would be a good amp to run these besides the Sundown. I'm not bashing Sundown, I just want to give my friend some options. I don't think she wants to go any higher in price than the Sundown though. Appreciate it.- Front Stage setup
Since this amp won't work, what would you suggest. I need a 4ch with bandpass capability. Budget? I don't really know (it's not my money) How about some suggestions on the low budget end to begin with. Is there something maybe a bit cheaper in price than the Zed or Sundown that would be good? Thanks.- Front Stage setup
Don't think this will work. I believe it's 40-400HP and LP. No real bandpass capability and to low of a crossover point for the tweets. What do you think about the equipment though if we find an appropriate amp to run this?- Front Stage setup
Don't know off hand. Will find out tonight.- Front Stage setup
Will the crossover on the RF not work for this application?- Front Stage setup
Hey guys, I got a friend looking to upgrade her factory front stage. She was thinking about these... http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=1466 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=1125 These will be powered with a RF 800.4. I'm not sure about this at all. The budget is around what it would cost for the speakers mentioned. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. She listens to a lot of R&B and alternative rock. Just looking for a clean sound up front. - The Long Journey
