Well I need to know what size recones to order and box to start building.... will either be doing 2 12" zcons in a 6th order ported through rear deck or 2 15" zcons in ported firing into car with trunk sealed off. . Really wanting to be over 150 db's but not just wanting numbers. Wanting crazy daily driver. Did a 145.6 with one zcon 15 on 3000 watts so hoping I can brake 150 .......either 12s or 15s will have same amp. Thinking bc5500 or somewhere in the 5-6k range. Just wanting peoples opinion on which I should go with. Cause wanting to order asap so I can have them before summer

Would trade you an 18 zcon and a zcon motor and cash(then can recone to 18) for the 12s

I would go with a front batt and at least 2 big batts in the back(( i would have at least 250-300 amp hours)).... and should do 2 runs of 0. And that alt is good... and be sure to do the big 3 and really focus on getting good grounds, it makes a big difference

Id meet half way with my zcon motor and 15" basket and cash . Can add a 12" solo x also depending how much cash i would have to add . . . . for your 12s :)/>

I would say bigger and/or better enclosure will get you more output than going to an 18... but you really should just try to find a good deal on another 15 and get a lot louder

When you order a recone does it take as long as it does as when you order a sub?

It was reconed the same size. I'm really not trying to talk sh*t or anything at all... this is just going to be my first recone cause I don't wanna pay all the extra shipping and wanna learn how. And I just don't wanna mess up anything but ran into this problem

There is not going to be a place someone can tell you to put it. Just Set it before there is any distortion and watch your volts
