could start by framing, build kind of a frame around where the box is going to be and work on sealing off any way air can get from the front to the back im working on a wall right now myself

yeyea i no, sorry if i came off mean or saying anything bad about ssa, im just impatient , i no ill be saying it was well worth it once its here

i wouldnt be asking where my sub is if i knew it would take this long, right when i ordered it they told me it mite take a month

i havnt seen any complaining, i have seen me being impatient because its taking 2 months to get a subwoofer, my bad for not expecting it to take that long, its the longest iv not had a sub in my car, and im not in any way talking shit about ssa because there amazing, just never had it take this long

yes i am. 2.3 cubes and jl recommends 1.5 cubes. it sounds really go though so i aint to worried lol. no smelly coils yet could maybe add some little peices of 2x4s inside to make there less space inside,, could slowly add more till it sounds the best, and it would probley lower tuning, i think

maybe you know somthing i dont ..... but from what i have read.the PARTS, came in for the recones thurday.......... that does not mean your sub got reconed the moment the parts landed. the build house still only does recone 1 day a week, "All Zcon's, new or recone kit's are going in order, finishing 12's today, 15's tomorrow and probably 18's Friday. They will be shipping out shortly after." this is what was said, last week,,,, to me seems like it was saying 15s will be done last thursday

just cant understand if it was done last thursday it not been sent by now, over a week waiting on ups?

i compleatly understand it taking a while to recone/build the subwoofers but what takes so long to send them out once there done?

4 gcons sounds like a good idea , but if you were willing to get a few 12s for a couple hundred each you could go with one zcon or couple icons

could look at the AUDIOPIPE APSM-4080 or APSM-4050 , not the best brand but tiny and about 100 bucks You say not the best brand, i have heard its one of the worst out there. is this true? im sure he would rather spend 200 on something reliable if audiopipebomb is that bad i have had a few audiopipe amps along with others and they are not nearly as bad as people say, most people say that cause there cheap in price, never had the small ones though
