so do guys think i could fit 18's with these max dimensions. if so how how would i design the box. 36 width, 27 depth, 23.75 height

I know what lpf and the ss are. I typed my number for the lpf wrong it wasnt that high. I just want slamming lows and didn't know if re tuning those would help

also i have taken the knowledge you guys have given me and i will use it to my advantage.

i'm not saying you guys dont know what your talking about i'm just saying what makes you any different than any other guys i talk to? like you are completely bashing them and you all are convinced that your opinions are the best. so what i'm not a big fan of 18s doesn't mean i hate them. yes i said they sucked from the experience i have i really was not impressed. will i get 18s in the future? possibly. i'm sorry if i offended you buy common now. you guys are no different then people i talk to at spl comps. you both run your own systems and have your own opinions

I never said i have written off 18s i would just have to find a design for a box that would fit. My max width is 36" so the subs would have to sit weird. I could probably only do 1 comfortably

i just said they weren't my friends haha and i was told do not get 18s if your intentions aren't for spl go 15s for a daily driver. you guys weren't there so you wouldn't know if it was said or not you're assuming it wasn't said when it was.

alright well this is the only forum i used for car audio at the time i bought the subs and this is where i heard it. and these guys really weren't friends just people I meet doing deals or at spl comps. except for you guys i honestly have not heard good things about 18s except for a few select brands mostly just digital designs

I read it on this forum i promise you. I was told 18s had terrible range i had heard it from people i know as well. they said if you aren't doing spl don't get 18s which i'm not. I'll ultimately end up getting a different set of 15s probably just because i know i can fit them in the suv with the proper amount of space

I don't remember names but they said don't do 18s even if i had the room because i'm almost go 18s instead of my sundowns but people told me to go with the sa15s. i was looking at some death rows

also my amp has LPF and subsonic can i adjust those to pick up lows better? my lpf goes from 30-250 im at 250 and subsonic goes from 15-35 and i'm around 30

I know a good amount about audio and understand enclosure makes the system. i'm just saying i've been advised from people on this very site to go with 15's instead of 18s and i think with the proper box built i could run 18's the subs just couldn't be right next to each other they would have to be diagonal from each other...unless that's bad for them some how

I've never heard high end 18s in person i was just going from what i've heard on this forum and others. If i were to get 18s what are some good ones that are in the 200-400 apiece range?

I've heard from multiple people to stay away from 18s because they have terrible range. They get loud but the ones i've heard didn't sound that great. I also don't have the room for 18s

i don't want 18s they sound like crap and sundown said do 35 hz but i'll trade 32 and see how i like it

I love feeling bass in my chest. I wanna feel the bass and I want flex. I wanna be able to do hair tricks and stuff like that. I can do small hair tricks and i can feel the best i just want more haha

I have sa15s the box is gonna be around 7-7.5 cuft box. Would tuning it at 40hz be too high for a daily driver? I want it to be hella loud!

I currently have this head unit http://www.walmart.com/ip/JVC-KD-S37-USB-CD-Receiver-with-Front-AUX-In/15627186 with 2volt pre outs i believe. I was wondering if i upgraded to this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_48464_Kenwood-KDC-X696.html with 4volt pre outs if i would notice a difference in the way my system sounded. Higher pre outs are good right??
