I have run 0 ga underneath 2 different vehicles, relatively unprotected, and never had a problem. (Over the course of 3-4 years). Just make sure all your wires are fused properly and if the wire does happen to get damaged or something you will just have a blown fuse rather then a fire.

they have the same impedance's. jut one is copper, the other isn't. so that's a no go?

My future setup is going to include 4 12" SSD's, but I can't afford them ATM, so I am trying to pick them up as cheaply as possible. I currently have a stock D1 SSD. Can I purchase two D1 SSD with the copper coils to use with my current sub? I am wondering because someone has two for sale for a much lower price then new. Or will I run into problems with cancellation and such? Thanks.
