Try just drilling a hole, pulling wire through it and using a two prong quick connect/disconnect, connector. running the wire only throught the box makes for no weak spots or leaks, like the terminals. mo.

I agree that the amp would be fine. I think a 2000w amp would be fine, because you could turn down the gain. Might sound better, because you wouldn't have to turn up the gain as much as a lower power amp? what ya think?

anyone have any experience with memphis subs? 2-12's in sealed box. all according to spec. which would be better. hpo and d2 shp and d2 The shp is kinda expensive, so wondering if a d2 would be better? hpo is pretty cheap but does d2 blow it away? thanks.

Well here it is primed and ready to paint. I painted it today also, but didn't take any pictures, because I don't like to be in the shop much when the paint is drying.

That's what I'm looking for is a hard hitting, solid. punchy sub. So would going with 1.0 sealed be best for the tight bass? I see that's what strong bumpin has. Like I said I have a regular cab truck=small cab. So shoud I go smaller box or larger in sealed for that tight, clear bass? thanks guys.

Both 12" in sealed boxes. SQ? Ability to sound good with 1200w for two drivers. Both subs seem awesome to me, I have been looking at adire because of the xbl tech. Brahma is a little more $. ahh I wish I could listen to them myself. Compare some of these side by side.

Wondering what you guys think are some good amps with something of this configuration. 1200-1500w @ 2ohm. Class D, mono sub amp, Simple xo would be nice, I like allen-set screws for terminals. Dependable, clean, and consistant on output. Also, something I don't have to spend $800 on. thanks.
