  1. I got a job offer today from Union Pacific. =D
  2. Lets go Raiders.
  3. What a night and start to today. So, I coach a flag football team with kids 8 and 9 years old. All the kids are first year players who know nothing about football. My little brother and I have been working with these kids for the last few months and they are really starting to look like players. Last nights game, we are down 13 - 6 with 40 seconds left in the game. We had been preaching to them about the little dump pass that they have been dropping on us. Told the kids to step in the passing lane and snag the ball. So, back to 40 seconds, 2nd down, run the ball right? Run out the clock right? Heck no! The other team passes the ball, one of our kid's intercepts it and returns it for a TD. Since me and my brother are of the same mind set we look at each other and say "go for 2". Bam! Hit one of the kids in the end zone, game over. Heck ya. I couldn't be more proud of these guys if they were my own kids. To see them go from knowing nothing about the game to seeing them understand is a great thing to see. So, after the game, we go and hang out, have a few drinks and some foodz. One of my little brothers oldest friends walks in, I have not seen this kid in about 10 years. We do a little catching up, bam power outage. They kick everyone one out of the place, bill on them.....but we had paid like 5 minutes prior to the power going out...lame. We head to my little brothers house, hang out, play some family feud on the PS3, drink some, and have good conversation. The friend that came tells me he never had the chance to thank me for helping him become the man he is. I was kind of taken back by this, most of my little brothers friends have told me this. I had always been the big brother to a lot of them, I just didn't realize that I had such an impact on them. Then my daughter and I head to my GF's house (yes, she is back with me again....). She is leaving for NYC to see her dying father. Get to bed about 130am...gotta be up at 4 to be to the airport for a 630am flight. We get up, and she is lallygagging around the house. At about 530 I am telling her lets go, lets go, lets go....we don't leave her place till almost 6. I manage to get her to LAX at 620. She calls me cause she missed her flight. Now she is fighting with the Delta rep because she really didnt miss her flight, they gave her seats away to a stand by passenger. Last I heard was she was arguing with the Delta employee because she (delta) wouldn't check her bags and was 3 minutes late to get her bags on the flight. This enraged my GF. She asks the lady for her name because she is going to file a complaint...she tells my GF that she cannot have her name and that she is calling the police. I have not heard anything since then....my poor GF. She is from Trinidad but is of middle eastern decent. She is a Muslim to boot.....racial profiling is gonna be in full effect for this on of the police come...I hope they don't shoot her...lol. Now I cannot sleep, so tired.....Sean, gimme a clip of the exhaust so I can put it on repeat....that would lull me to sleep. Nice ride by the way...assface. Bring it to SoCal so you can take me for a ride. =D
  4. I hear that the 6.3 means you like little boys....i'm just sayin.
  5. Just got back from a nice long walk with the kids and the Doug.
  6. Sorry. I lost my Grandmother a while back to cancer, that struggle was horrible. My grandfather was quick, here one day, gone the next. Those two people gave me many memories that I pass on to my kids as stories. I have been blessed to have a great family life. My Ex wife's grandfather died last week, he was closing in on 90. He was a true man. He lived his life as if spoke about it. Honest and true. I would sit with him for hours and talk about his childhood in Kansas. The depression years and everything in between then and now. This man was not blood to me, but he did hold a very special place in my heart. He had on many occasions say I was his favorite grandchild. More later, gotta go see me mum. Have a good day guys.
  7. It is a real sad day for my family, on this date 4 years ago, my uncle Dean James Freeman passed away. 41 years old. I miss him so much, he had a great connection with his nephews and nieces. I am all depressed now. Jeeze.
  8. I am le bored.
  9. :jump: :jump: I got so excited when I got the phone call. I go in on Tuesday, they said plan the whole day to stay there. It is a union job, I am not much for unions after seeing how the Mechanics for Northwest got rapped by theirs, but hell, some unions actually work to make better environments for the employees. Starting pay is decent, more then what I was making and I will also be able to work on getting my apprentice and journeyman electrician stuff out of the way.
  10. Speaking of Turkey. I do a bacon wrapped turkey. I brine that bitch, wrap it in bacon (thick cut), bake and baste it for a few hours. OMFG, it is so good. I did a 12lb. bird last year and that shit was gone before I could get 2nds. I will look to see if I still have pictures of it.
  11. I got an interview with Union Pacific, hell ya!
  12. Mac n Cheese of course, silly goose.
  13. I thought about a xmas tree and hanging of the lights, but I told the Ex that she could take the kids with her to MN to see her family over xmas...so f that idea. I am not spending the money. My children won't be here to see it, no reason to make the effort.
  14. I'm surprised I still had 4 boxes left over after it was all said and done...just the bare essentials at this point can't wait to get this glassware and dishes out...pucking hate them... Ha, you have 4 boxes of kitchen stuff and I have more than 4 boxes of wine glasses. Send me a box or 2. =D
  15. Sounds like a hella good night. =D I have been looking everywhere for work that pays more then $15/hr still nothing. Shit.....that is half of what I should be making. FML.
  16. I wish I had the money and time to undertake a project like that. I guess I will just have to live vicariously through this post. /sad panda
